Why the untrimmed part of the video is black when exported? So the lengths of video is not cutted out It should cut away the not activated part

Any fix for audio just dropping out? The timeline frame rate and playback frame rate are identical, but when I'm playing it back the audio drops out randomly. If I stop the playback and start it again, it will play for a little while before dropping out again. No idea what the problem is. All the waveforms are there and when it plays it starts in sync and occasionally does not sync.

You created a timelapse but how do you save it as a video that can be shared elsewhre?
@TrailTraveler9 күн бұрын
Export it like any other video

Resolve doesn't seem to have a shadow catcher option. There has to be way to either use a ground plane or normal plane with the option to activate the alpha channel to create a shadow catcher. kind of like blender.

Don't forget that TC is vital for audio recording as well. Your drone footage may very well need to be synched to audio footage and with no scratch audio embedded on drone video files, TC is even more vital on drone footage than on cine footage.
@FilmmakerCentral19 күн бұрын
Unfortunately, none of my drones support TC so I use an app called QTChange64 that takes the timestamp from the file creation date and jams it as timecode. Since I sync my cameras to time-of-day TC, then everything lines up perfectly.

Hi, thanks for the video, I have 1 question: when it automatically imports the source clips, will they also be linked with the source audio? (the audio and video was recorded separately and then linked/synced in the newer version of davinci).

Great summary of how you can put timecode onto such a variety of cameras. I use GoProLabs QRcode app as an easy way to add the metadata timecode sync on multiple GoPros (using GoProlabs firmware for Hero 7-11). The new Hero 12 and 13 have this built into the standard firmware. With the metadata timecode, I use a new type of PC application called Multi-View HD Pro 2, which reads the GoPro metdata timecode, and automatically syncs for previewing up to 8 GoPro videos instantly after I import the files. I don't have to make multi-cam clips, proxies or wait for rendering to do this. I can view all videos in split screen together as if it were real-time live. Worth checking out.

Thank you for sharing this information. It's been very helpful in understanding the intricacies of GoPro timecode. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use that software on my MacBook Pro

We get 3 props and the rest for £529 in the uk. That’s a bit of a rip off to tell you the truth. But when Drone safe sells one battery for £179 each you can see why not many people buy drones at all. 🤷🏽♂️

Dear @FilmmakerCentral Greetings from India! I recently watched your video on timecode, and I must say it was the best I've seen on the topic. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise in such a clear and concise way. I learned a lot from your video and will be using the information you provided to improve my own timecode workflow. Thank you again for creating such a valuable resource.

Wow man, why'd you stop posting? I just found you and I'm telling you i have been looking for this video pretty much since the M chips first hit the seen lol!! I'm looking to buy either an m1 max or m2 and i just really want to see the machine do the stuff that i want to do before shelling out all that cash! Thank you for taking your time and going through all the things! Magic mask... check! 3d camera tracking... check! Fusion particle node trees... check! This is s great presentation of what you can expect from an m1 max in DaVinci fusion page! I know I'm late to the party but this was very helpful and I'm grateful! I'll probably buy renewed (that's the only way i can afford such a speced out machine lol), but I'm still looking at spending over $2,000 and it feels great to see that the thing can actually do what I'm buying it for! Thanks my man! Just subbed so look forward to seeing your next video!

This is the EXACT tutorial I was looking for! LIKED and SUBSCRIBED! One question, instead of adjusting the Matte Threshold to eliminate the background bleed over, could you instead draw a Matte over the monitors to accomplish that? Would a Matte (or even a Mask) be a better option for stationary objects? Thank you!
