I see something new every time I watch this brilliant film.So impactful, so connected in the father/daughter dynamic. Sometimes, unfortunately, love is just not enough but that love remains forever.

You and I are in the minority who love this episode. Its literally filler (along with the Christmas episode it was literally written after all of the other scripts for the season after Apple asked for 2 additional episodes), but its brilliant. A lot of people are disconcerted and confused by this episode. Like you, I saw what they were trying to do here. While there's nothing exactly like this elsewhere in the series, there is something eventually that's almost as unusual in a very broadly similar way. I won't say more so as not to spoil.

the watch... its a time-travel tool. it showed the year of the first video etc and linked to the phone call ring each time they switch worlds. Jae Hyun using Blackberry in 2014 while In Guk using iPhone sudden scene changes the 'almost kiss scene' in trailer was not in the actual video but the setting was exactly the same. Sleeping Jae Hyun opened his eyes but In Guk was not there. The trailer was In Guk's time travelling. the last scene, In Guk was alive, walking away.. a parallel world saved by Jae Hyun.. that was what i understood so far.. probably Part 3 to end it all? haha but i love the plot

The way Seo In Guk at the end says "I missed you". Like they met again, somehow

Martin is the reason they didn't speak for a year, he kissed his wife's sister, lied (about his sobriety too) and is overall inappropriate and nasty, I don't have sympathy for him, I feel sorry for his son, jake, though

I read some theories, 1. Ahn Jeahyun just imagines things, so Seo In Guk already died in the MV. He knows the fact that In Guk in love with him, and starts to regret not reaching out to him or calling him sooner. 2. People also have theories that actually Jaehyun also had a love interest for In Guk even just a little, he tried to time travel for saving In Guk, but both failed with his death. That's why there are scenes with different situation in the same setting. In the first lyrics it said, "You are leaving me again.” which means In Guk also died before. The 2nd theory is more makes sense to me. ^^

That doctor was on a total power trip. He definitely acted nicely in the beginning to get the joba nd then once he did, he showed his true intentions. He took sadistic pleasure in dominating the king. If you go back and listen, the other doctors said he was from an asylum know for torturing their patients. Oh and he definitely told George that Charlotte was pregnant on purpose in order to trigger him into an episode so he'd come back for more torture. He knew what he was doing and he knew George would be scared to hurt Charlotte and didn't trust him(the Dr) to take good care of her and the baby.

The only downside to this episode is the exclusion of Guts' OTHER trauma from the manga. While they're boning, Guts has a flash back from when he was assaulted as a child and it makes him start to choke Casca. Feeling ashamed, Guts turns away and doesn't go through with the rest of it until Casca throws her arms around him in acceptance. It's a beautiful moment that I wish the anime could have adapted because it tackles an issue that's oft overlooked in society.

The Under Pressure scene is one of the most profoundly moving experiences I've had in a movie. It's when everything it had been building up came into focus. It wasn't just about Sophie reflecting on this vacation with her dad and noticing his depressive symptoms, it was Sophie trying to hold on to whatever vestiges of her dad remain. Sophie pushes Calum away in the rave scene because it's a version of him she doesn't want to remember. She wants to remember the real him. Not the one who covered up his pain with dancing. And that shot where Sophie turns into her younger self is just....haunting. Masterful film.

Hey! Not sure if anyone ever commented, but the scratches were evidence of abuse from Logan’s childhood. If you look back, Logan mentioned what his Uncle would have done if he spoke to him the way Kendall did. He also got very upset when Kendall mocked him for what “evil uncle Noah” would do. It was also foreshadowed earlier when Shiv mentioned that their dad doesn’t swim. They think it’s because he does trust the water, nut he likely doesn’t want them to see his scars. Not a spoiler btw.

Did you notice how Jamie flinched when Roy first hugged him? It hints at the level of abuse Jamie had to suffer. As for the teammates sitting there, they were all still sad about the loss and the scene with Jamie’s dad evolved quite quickly to an unimaginably horrible level. And they had to step back allow a teammate space to deal with their own family dynamic. They’re all men with fathers and might not want someone interfering in their private lives even if they can see the father is a complete jerk. I think the team was shocked to see a father behave that way to his son. Thank goodness Beard stepped up and threw him out.

the acting in this show is so good, i love everything phil dunster does with his face in the scene with jamie's dad he is just so expressive and so emotional the look of fear when the dad goes you can have that one for free and then just the way he collapses against roy the acting in this show is just ugh so good
