Do you guys offer an Hydrostatic Test Pump that is battery powered in this size? The drill pump is as close as it gets, but out in the field we are looking for something light and portable with enough power to quickly pressurize 4-8 inch underground Ductile Iron Pipe that has already been filled. Out in the field we don't have power and bringing a generator defeats the purpose of light and portable, and gas powered can be also heavy and bulky.

there should be a quick release mechanism for the screw bolt. similar to what you can find in some quick release vises.

Nowadays having a beveling disc for your grinder is way more efficient than any of these products. I love Reed too, just saying my opinion from working in the field.

REED offers a grinder attachment called the Bevel Boss. Most people, though, use Bevel Boss for 2 inch and larger diameter. This tool series covers the smaller sizes. And, we do sell it with and without a drill shaft.

I wonder if this tool could be used in a situation for PEX pipe just to shut it off in an emergency or would it hurt the pipe?

These copper shut-off tools would not work for PEX. REED PESO1 could possibly work, but as with PE tubing, REED recommends replacement of the crimped area at a time where there is no emergency.

Perhaps "as much pressure as practical" would be a better phrase. REED cutter wheels, though, especially in this 4-wheel configuration, are amazingly durable and high performance.

Utiliza baterías de 18V. Hemos escuchado aproximadamente 1 hora de funcionamiento con la batería completamente cargada. REED vende un kit Pump Stick que incluye la batería DeWalt n.º 08146. En caso contrario compra una placa para conectar tu propia batería Milwaukee, Makita o Bosch.

Just purchased the 3". Hopefully this performs better than the chamfer cone. The chamfer cone produces inconsistent chamfers. Angling the cone towards the lesser chamfered side doesn't even it out. For the price I'd expect better.

@@michaelgoodwin5162 When we get down to that size, we generally recommend the DEB4. Although it is manual versus drill-power, it is a secure fit for 1 1/2" plastic pipe as it snaps on and gives an even chamfer. www.reedmfgco.com/en/products/plastic-pipe-tools/deb4-deburring-tool-for-plastic-pipe/deb4/

You would recommend the DEB4 over the DEB1-2? The DEB1-2 looks nice. I assume that was not out when I bought the chamfer cone. I likely would have went with it.

@@michaelgoodwin5162 REED recommends DEB4 and DEB1 series equally. It all depends on the diameters you're working with on a regular basis. They both perform very well. Have you also seen the DEB1 "P" series? www.reedmfgco.com/en/products/plastic-pipe-tools/deb1-series-deburring-tools-drill-powered/ It is only IPS, though.

The magnet will hold the cuttings in a lengthwise orientation that maximizes the chance of getting them embedded in the skin, meanwhile your demonstration shows someone grasping the magnet with bare skin, not covering their fingers with any PPE.

We have a 2” pipe squeezer that works like a charm but our 4” one is garbage. We can never get a full pinch. Both Reed. Anyone else have this problem with the 4” pipe squeezer
