My worry is not getting a VA or nice photos. I am actually more after free or low cost training. Here in the UK a life coach does not require any qualifications but people do prefer you having a few letters after your name. Also, I don't just want to be this random person with no background knowledge starting up a life coaching business. I have still a long way to go until I can afford ICF accreditation (or similar). In the meantime, what are some good free or low cost courses I can take?
@KristaKathleenCoachАй бұрын
We have a great low cost course $125, that gives you access to all the tools I use to run my private life coaching business everyday. You can access here: www.borntocoach.org/course
@theconfidentcoachblueprint14 күн бұрын
Hey @thesupergreenjudy Getting some kind of training to ensure that you can provide value and transformation is the #1 step on the journey. I know many people who do not receive ICF accreditation and are highly paid 1-1 Life Coaches. I've found that many people who aim for ICF are looking to coach in the corporate world vs providing 1-1 personal Life Coaching. So perhaps that can free your mind from having to save up for all of the ongoing fees required by ICF? Best of luck on your journey! 💛

As a Certfied coach trying to get my business online while working full-time, for me getting my first course together has been the hardest. I understand Morgan’s thinking - in order to scale up as a solo entrepreneur, there’s only so much time you have for 1:1 sessions. Creating a course allows you to reach more people and keep it affordable for those who can’t afford the higher price for your 1:1 sessions. For me that is the reason I became a coach, to help as many people as I can while making a living doing what I love. ❤

This video really hit home for me. I didn’t even realize some of the behaviors you mentioned were linked to codependency. It's eye-opening how subtle those signs can be, especially when you're so focused on taking care of others that you lose sight of your own needs. Thank you for shedding light on this topic! Looking forward to more videos that help with emotional growth and self-awareness.

Yup. I'm here figuring out how to proceed. Harvard has nutrition programs and it's $3000. The library has great resources to learn coaching. And most the programs I saw are about trying out on other coaches... I'm just trying to picture myself as a client. Who would I go with. CPT, bachelor of science who started modeling and college at 35 after being robbed of everything or online 6 months of sales pitches and practicing on your peers or certified life coach... Which things hold the most value? Is it certification if I can pay for Harvard...does anything beat instincts and natural talent... Should anyone be doing anything without certification... What do clients want...what do I want... So clearly I asked the algorithm ❤

Good insights! Establishing a solid mindset and actively coaching, even on a pro bono basis can build confidence and generate impactful testimonials. Additionally, building relationships within relevant communities aligned with your values and leveraging personal experiences to connect with potential clients is also essential. It's also important to adapt your strategies based on feedback to enhance the effectiveness of your coaching practice, helping to better serve clients and foster long-term success. ✨
