Anyone can take the water taxi but the hotels charge for parking so you’d end up paying more than if you just parked at CityWalk.

It’s truly amazing how entitled most tourists feel when they go onto a cruise ship or to a big resort. If you don’t like your cabin, you think it’s too small the bathrooms too small etc. you should upgrade. If you can’t afford to upgrade then here’s a simple formula to change your attitude… Go stay overnight one night in one of the crew cabins far below deck without any window, no balcony no Hamic, and likely no private bathroom. By the next morning you’ll go back to your luxurious little hotel room and it will seem much bigger and the amenities will be much more appreciated. Videos like this point to the fact that people who only take cruises are pretty much tourist they are not travelers, they are just vacationists. People will come back from a cruise bragging that they visited Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Dominican republic etc. but they really just went ashore for a couple of hours to have tropical drinks that they could’ve had on the boat, they don’t really experience that country that they are in, it’s all carefully designed illusion that there

It’s a ships room it’s going to be cramped - it’s only for sleeping. You should upgrade your room if you want it bigger. Same with the bathroom. It’s standard on most cruise ships 🛳️

Hi! Yes I agree with you but I’ve done a lot of cruises and this was the most cramped I’ve been in a cabin. I just got off Allure of the seas and actually had a lot of space for it being a regular room.

7 cruises with Virgin and I really like them. The biggest drawback is the beds in non suite cabins. Super uncomfortable!!!

@@lennyj3300 Let me preface by saying my opinion has been formed nearly exclusively from the YT vids I've seen: *The shows are raunchy and provocative in a way that is off-putting to me. *I've heard that it is a 'swinger' environment from more than one source, including people I've met IRL (on a cruise!) *the red themed everything is not my taste. Our vacation dollars are hard-earned, and we direct them where we feel is most in alignment with our personal tastes and needs.

@AndreaShink I think those are all perfectly valid points. I am more curious than apprehensive, I think. I figured I have nothing to compare it to since I am new to the vacation style. The age restriction for sailors under 18 is very appealing to me. Do you have a favorite cruise line?

@AndreaShink oh, I forgot o mention is am very nervous when it comes to the food on Virgin. I don't have a very...adventurous..palate. I have never been one for super fancy chef-fy food. I am more of a meat and potatoes kind of guy. Give me tacos or pizza and I'm a happy guy. Looking over the restaurant menus, I am not super excited. Thank goodness there is the Pizza place so I know I won't starve 😅
