Yes, these temptations come. I also have a hard time opening up to my parents and I search for a friend with a mutual interest as me. I also fell to temptation and guilt consumed me until I wanted to backslide and leave everything behind. But praise God the trainings and His Word in me prevailed!

It's enlightening to hear memories and experiences of other kids who grew up at church. One of the things that I can never forget that I heard is the teaching about Father Heart of God. And as Malachi said about worship, I had the desire to be part of the worship team because it rhema in my heart that worshipping, singing, playing instruments--it's something with eternal value and something I will do for eternity is worshipping God. If there's anything I should spend my time to or invest time in, I want to spend time with the things of God. Thank you for sharing this podcast video. Hallelujah!

I'm truly inspired about how they fight and deal with those struggles and how they overcame it despite may pressure talaga. As I listen to your background stories I also evaluate myself sa mga nangyari from the past as "laking Church" and it's true, its not about kung yung parents ay committed sa Church its about my choice. One thing I realized is to build relationship to God. Now I am encourage na maging committed pa sa Diyos, inspite surrounded by unbelievers "young people" sa labas, it doesn't mean na gagayahin ko sila. I should not have double lives. Thank you for opening up your life stories, for being transparent about your ups and downs. One thing that struck me is when Ptr. Finney saw her mom crying nung na DA siya. I realized, if I will only look how much God will be hurt if I will choose to commit sin, then hindi ko na ito gagawin. "Everytime may effect, may cause. Kung tama ang cause, tama ang effect" - THIS! Tama, it takes maturity na makita at marealize ko na kung anong action ng mga tao sa paligid ko towards me is not all the time about them, maybe mali yung cause na naipapakita ko. and so many moooreeee realizations.. I was blessed to grow up in the church, surrounded by teachings that laid a solid foundation for my life. But despite of this foundation, there were times when I allowed myself to be led by my own desires rather than God’s will. Just like Pastor Finney said, having friends or 'barkadas' outside of church is like living a double life. Your life is different when you're in church, and it’s also different when you're in school. Growing up always focusing on privileges can affect our character. And this is why we need to develop a Godly character. Thank you for sharing your stories po! ❤️‍🔥
