@@CT-7567_CPTNRex yeah I wanted to play a different weapon every tournament and my idea was to make them gradually worse as I went and this being the last it was supposed to be the worst of the 8. In hindsight I found halberd more difficult

So all classes have the same top speed but they differ in acceleration. Knight class, which I'm playing here, actually has the worst acceleration. The key is to just keep up momentum. One handy tip is that countering allows you to keep up momentum while reposting will stop you in your tracks so running and countering is a good skill to have in team objective. A real key to staying alive is to keep moving so you'll notice I'll do a lot of hit and runs and try to avoid stopping too much. It's enabled by default so it's probably on for you but important to note that auto sprint should be enabled... basically only reason to turn it off would be for RP walking.

We had a friend of the stream, named 'Cow' in game, do this to me at the end of a great Falmire D: was impressive though. I've tried to replicate it myself since but just can't hit the timing. One day.

That's pretty much it, yeah. Kicking is very good against players who are holding block so you need to have already spotted that exploit. Newer players think kicking is overpowered. Honestly I could probably throw kicks at Vulgar a little more because it does catch him occasionally. Higher level players will definitely punish you for it though.

Try feinting overhead to a kick while crouching or running - this may be a bit more catchy against better players. But beware - you might be gambled because to do this you shall give up your initiative - combinate this with pulling back out of the fight and cancelling attacks to confuse your opponent and to put him into defensive state

kicking is an amazing tool if used at the perfect time. For example, you are fighting some who you notice blocks after every repost/ attack. Higher levels players will catch you when you try to kick and punish it with a free hit. Like i said kicking is great and will still get some use however jabbing is much safer and does mostly the same thing - reset the initiative so you can re take it. I have actually talked about doing this so hopefully I will get around to it soon. The engine.ini settings are shared in my Discord server but there is a fairly length number of settings in game and in the nvidia control panel that make my game look like this.

that's the playstyle of this game if you wanna score high, keep moving and never get outnumbered... pretty much exactly how it used to be back in the good old days (sighs)

In practice I certainly would (and do) but in this tournament people qualify based on their scores against me so for the integrity of the tournament I must play 100% against everybody :)

@@ananasdragen5782 At the moment these duel tournaments are closed to gifters/subs/vips/mods to keep it within the community. Sadly there are too many bad actors within the community to open up the tournaments to everybody but we are looking at a way to do this in the future. If you would *really* like to participate being part of our Twitch community is the best way to get into these - gifted subs are often given out and I am willing to give them to regulars myself.
