I leave my shaman in cruware unfolded and out(for years). and I live on a canal connected to the bay to the Atlantic Ocean. It’s been years and no rust. I Just oil it every once in a while. I’m on the Atlantic north east tho so half the year I don’t have to worry about the humidity. Is this a boat/beach/fishing steel? No, but it’s absolutely fine for anything else

Like a Shaman. But with a pretty chippy steel, two less mounting options, flat scales/worse ergos, no choil and no ability to front flip it. Oh and not a great price. Feels like a miss to me.

Speak for yourself, flat sided is far better for indexing the knife in hand. Also to complain about ergos but then bring up the loss of the hideous clip holes at the pivot, when mounting a clip that way completely ruins ergos. Sounds like you don't put much thought into cutting tools past their FwiDGeT FwACtooR

I have a real microtech Markora 2, and I also own several chinese knock-offs and let me tell you, for the price...theres not really enough of difference to warrant buying anouther REAL microtech thats so expensive ill never use it to cut anything. The knock-offs are cheap, fuctionable, and great enough for EDC and use. Buy a $400+ knife if you like, but you realistically can't go wrong with a knock-off.

How do we do DLC coating at home? I can't find a video on how it's done. Even if it requires a expensive machine I'd like to know where you get this done abd how, also is it possible to make your own DIY process possibly in a cheaper vacuum chamber
