Hi There! thanks for the video. I'm not very clued-up when it comes to driving light installations. you cant perhaps send me some photos of the routing inside the cabin? I tried installing this afternoon but that grommet is so tight and I don't want to break something...

Is the stedi wiring kit plug and play for the facelifted n80 hilux? I read all these online forums about it being negatively switched and slight modification is required to the wiring kit. I’ve got no clue what it’s all about.

I'm not entirely sure about Stedi, but if they don't there's now a range of patch harnesses that I source from Cooldrive that will do the job with any kit. And yes, you need to pick up both a switched positive and switched negative on most Toyotas.

So none of the wiring looms come with an 8 pin adapter to tap into the headlight plugs??

Not many. I think just Stedi and Lightforce offer an option but it's not offered in their generic wiring harness kit.

Hi, how can make lights activated from high beam

Hi, the circuit that I tap into is high beam. When you connect the switch circuit from your driving light harness, you'll be good to go!

Do you happen to remember any of the other pins other than earth and high beam? I'm upgrading from halogen to OEM LED headlights and I'm trying to make up a wire diagram that won't fry my new expensive headlights. It's so new I haven't found anyone else doing it.

Hi, no I'm sorry I haven't. I simply haven't had the need to. But if you are just chasing the low beam circuit as well, it won't be difficult. Using the same earth will make it a safe bet to find the correct pin. Good luck!

@@motoelectric7497 Hm, I guess I will have to overcome my fears eventually ;). There are some people in Thailand that make adapter harnessess but they're pretty bulky. I bought the OEM connector to re pin the original harness. Originally there are four connectors one for each incandescent bulb. I know there is one relay required for one of the pins. At least now I have two pins to start with.
