This is by far the best thing to come out of the sequel trilogy. I was lucky enough to ride this twice when I was at Disneyland last week and it still stands as my favorite ride ever made.

It saddens me so much, to see what management at Disney is doing to Walt’s Legacy. For almost a decade here in Florida my family was Florida annual passholders… but that was then, and now it’s quite different. Prices have gone so high at Disney World, that we can’t afford to go anymore. I don’t think Walt Disney would be very happy about that. And we’re not alone, thousands and thousands of people throughout America, middle America, hard-working families, like mine, can’t afford to go there anymore. Such a shame! 😟

I am a huge fan of Walt. However, based entirely on what I've found researching him, I am absolutely certain that without Roy, we never would have heard of Walt Disney. I don't think Walt would have made it, at least not to the extent that he did, without Roy. An amazing brother and just a really good person.

I looked closely at the video of the black bladed crystal and red when you used them in the blade the black one is darker in making tint then the red if you look closely enough and pay attention to detail in light color

Walt and Roys story is truly the American dream. I wish they would have touched on Walts time he spent in St. Louis, producing trailers for local theaters, before going to Kansas City, where his early "studio" still stands. Some interesting trivia, St. Louis was in the running to get a Disney World on the riverfront. Fortunately, they doged a bullet when the deal fell through.

You summed up things beautifully. I was a Submarine operator in the 70's. It is a fantastic attraction. And, Walt so loved the Monorail. Many of the folks I worked with came from Disneyland's early days, much like Bob Gurr. They were all people of many hats, many talents.

I saw Michael Iseberg while I grew up in Florida but previous to that saw him on trips to California (at Knotsberry farm?) And my dad and I were so pleased when we saw that he had set up "residence" at Disney world. My dad had studied at Julliard, too and I wonder if that factored into my dad falling for Iseberg's musicality and entertainment abilities. I seem to remember my dad bending Michael's his ear any chance he could get, and Michael seemed to be quite gracious with his time while answering questions from my dad.

I used to, and still kind of have this thing where if I know the time something's going away, I don't wanna do it. That's how I was with the stunt show. I can't stop beating myself up over not getting it together and going to see the final show. But I did see it quite a few times when it wasn't on death's door. That really was Disney's greatest attraction.

Dreamfinder can and should return. The core of Dreamfinder, Figment, and their message is eternal, and they can simultaneously evolve as characters. Give us a new, updated version of them who still invoke the spirit and philosophy of the originals. Create sparks of imagination that inspire amazing, marvelous new ideas.

Thank you for making this video - very well done. This REALLY took me back to my childhood and really hit on the noted magical Disney memories as seeing Michael Iceberg in the Tomorrowland Terrance in 1977 when I was 12 years old was exactly that for me. Like others, me and my Dad met him after the show and bought his album which I just loved. I had completely forgotten about seeing him until something reminded me of him and thanks to modern tech easily found said album here on KZbin, which then led me here. It was a real treat to watch this and relive a great memory - thanks again!

the silly reporting person shouldn't open dialogue like this when both brothers were in sync with each other, creative vision was of pitajigrande walt.. if that was not there what can money do?.. and same goes in appreciation of money handling if Mr. Roy wasn't excellent in financial responsibilities, then creative imagination also cannot thrive so their union as business partners was built on excellent symbiotic sync.

i'd have to double check, but i believe the Harding animatronic was added in the early nineties. the model was originally one of the Phoenicians on Spaceship Earth, as Harding himself shared strong lineage with them, and of course, would go on to perfect the English alphabet during his term, nationally designating vowels as 'essential' letters.

I miss the Vacation Hoedown and the Christmas shows that were only at the one in Disneyland (before that Dastardly Pooh Bear evicted the poor bears and hid poor Max Buff and Melvin behind a Wall!)…true story…the last performance at Disneyland was two days before 9/11…not blaming Pooh for THAT but it DID send some negative energy out into the Universe…(nice to hear from you again, Jordan…hope all is well with you this new Year!)

supposedly part of this redo will be significantly updating the audio-animatronics... which in theory should make updates and changes more convenient and less time consuming... which in theory would make holiday overlays like the vacation hoedown and the christmas special more realistic to return again... which in theory would bring me satisfaction in large amounts, even with the intruding inclusion of loosely related disney songs... but in reality, we are talking about the Disney company in the Iger era so... you know... reserving my judgement. in any case, i much prefer the bears getting reworked than removed.

Extraordinary! I'm truly blown away by this video. On every level it really delivers, and I can't imagine how much work was put into it. I learned a lot, and it recalled a lot for me. These show attractions haven't faired too well in attendance numbers (Country Bears, Carousel of Progress) but the Disneyland Tiki Room seems to still attract audiences. I have many good memories of introducing it to visiting friends and relatives. They always come out of it really uplifted and happy. Thanks so much. I'm looking forward to watching more of these.

I wish Disney or universal would do a retro park and bring back all the amazing ideas they were gonna make and bring back classic attractions as well. That would be a hit guaranteed and every park would follow suit as well. They should also never tear down or remove any attractions but just add more great and old ideas or retired attractions and lands with retro themeing
