(sigh* to change this tour during the early 2000s area when i was like 9 10 11 12 age range to star wars and toy story land just seems extremely sad i bet a lot of people were upset about it but not as much as the amazing movie tour in the theater but now has changed to something even more less interesting it's like all these old childhood memories are all gone now and nothing can get them back from what stole them

More Disney horseshit propaganda! Try listening to the astronauts themselves. Gus Grisom's crew were burned alive in a training ✌️accident✌️ after hanging a 🍋 on the tin foil erector set they were supposed to land on the moon in, to show the world it was a fraud. Upon the 1st mission return, Collins contradicted his own words in his book re "I dont recall any stars", then saying there were "millions of stars" , Aldren on camera said "it didn't happen" and became an alcoholic, Armstrong left the program and years later gave a cryptic speech to students, eluding to finding "truth's hidden layers". All 3 looked like their dogs had just died at their official press conference upon their return. They could barely face the cameras. Motivation?.. It was all about beating the Russians, following Sputnik and using the 'fake it until you make it' agenda NASA's yearly budget is somewhere in the $600 BILLION per year 'Nuff said Wake up sheeple! 🐑

I was there for opening day, my dad put me up on his shoulders. I remember like it was yesterday seeing Walt and the actors from the movie. I think they even had some ostriches running around. Still go to Disneyland today but now with my grandson, although we also go to Knott's to ride Ghostrider 6 or 8 times a year..... lol

I worked TLT from 1979 to 1990! I got to see Michael so many times! The daytime shows were lots of fun, but when he would work after dark, he changed up his format, and we loved it! Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and many more. Nothing too crazy, but not the normal synth sounds of his daytime family show. We got to see him perform and he used the stairs that led to our TLT breakroom, down in the 'tunnel'. He would often sit and chat with us, if the moment struck him. Dressed in a long lab coat type cloak, with a feather duster sticking out of the pocket! He was a very eclectic person, but so friendly too! Many folks did not realize that his machine, was actually on the roof of the stage! When another band would get on stage and they raised up into the restaurant, the Iceberg machine when up, into the glass covering over the stage area! I got to ride the stage many times, when we would clear all the tables for special events. We'd pile them on the stage and store them in the tunnel, and have them back before opening in the morning.

Gotta say even 5 years later it still kinda stings how bad this ride is now. I like the mosasaur section a lot but it's just so bad after that in terms of like, EVERYTHING except for the new animatronics. The falling jeep and raptor pen area is genuinely embarrassing, and plotting a raft through the T.Rex exhibit is insane. I find myself getting inexplicably heated over it even now 😅

It saddens me so much, to see what management at Disney is doing to Walt’s Legacy. For almost a decade here in Florida my family was Florida annual passholders… but that was then, and now it’s quite different. Prices have gone so high at Disney World, that we can’t afford to go anymore. I don’t think Walt Disney would be very happy about that. And we’re not alone, thousands and thousands of people throughout America, middle America, hard-working families, like mine, can’t afford to go there anymore. Such a shame! 😟

I am a huge fan of Walt. However, based entirely on what I've found researching him, I am absolutely certain that without Roy, we never would have heard of Walt Disney. I don't think Walt would have made it, at least not to the extent that he did, without Roy. An amazing brother and just a really good person.

Walt and Roys story is truly the American dream. I wish they would have touched on Walts time he spent in St. Louis, producing trailers for local theaters, before going to Kansas City, where his early "studio" still stands. Some interesting trivia, St. Louis was in the running to get a Disney World on the riverfront. Fortunately, they doged a bullet when the deal fell through.

You summed up things beautifully. I was a Submarine operator in the 70's. It is a fantastic attraction. And, Walt so loved the Monorail. Many of the folks I worked with came from Disneyland's early days, much like Bob Gurr. They were all people of many hats, many talents.

I saw Michael Iseberg while I grew up in Florida but previous to that saw him on trips to California (at Knotsberry farm?) And my dad and I were so pleased when we saw that he had set up "residence" at Disney world. My dad had studied at Julliard, too and I wonder if that factored into my dad falling for Iseberg's musicality and entertainment abilities. I seem to remember my dad bending Michael's his ear any chance he could get, and Michael seemed to be quite gracious with his time while answering questions from my dad.

I used to, and still kind of have this thing where if I know the time something's going away, I don't wanna do it. That's how I was with the stunt show. I can't stop beating myself up over not getting it together and going to see the final show. But I did see it quite a few times when it wasn't on death's door. That really was Disney's greatest attraction.

Dreamfinder can and should return. The core of Dreamfinder, Figment, and their message is eternal, and they can simultaneously evolve as characters. Give us a new, updated version of them who still invoke the spirit and philosophy of the originals. Create sparks of imagination that inspire amazing, marvelous new ideas.

Thank you for making this video - very well done. This REALLY took me back to my childhood and really hit on the noted magical Disney memories as seeing Michael Iceberg in the Tomorrowland Terrance in 1977 when I was 12 years old was exactly that for me. Like others, me and my Dad met him after the show and bought his album which I just loved. I had completely forgotten about seeing him until something reminded me of him and thanks to modern tech easily found said album here on KZbin, which then led me here. It was a real treat to watch this and relive a great memory - thanks again!
