Only guitar version ive heard do this song justice awesome

Unfortunately the quality of the recording is not amazing at the bass end, it doesn't do Bob much justice.

Cool interview man, thanks for uploading. I totally discovered John through KZbin and it changed my direction in guitar playing towards jazz. His 'A Go-go' album is my favourite. I'd love to see him live or attend a workshop. Maybe one day. Cheers for now!

Hi Jan, this is fantastic. Trying to learn this song. Do you have any tabs for this?
Great interview! Thanks for such a good job. I just subscribed to your channel; I'll have to check out your blogspot as well. :0)

Beautiful playing and tone. This style has to become more popular. Picks are overrated and limiting:) Are you into Mick Goodrick btw ? Or Tom Quayle ?
@protocosm9 жыл бұрын
Yes I know both players and they are amazing. I'm more into people like Sylvain Luc snd Nelson Vera's. Sylvain Courtney is amazing too. Techniques are great to studying. There's a danger that it will take over the music. Too get away from that I stop listening to guitar music and only listen to pianists like Chick Corea, Rembrandt Frerichs. This also helps from becoming a tone-player instead of a musician.

How come he gets such a low action without fret buzz?
@BurntMcgurnt5 жыл бұрын
I don't understand how people get feet buzz I play with a low action 3 32nds on the bass side and 2 32nds on the treble side has a lot to do with how you hit the guitar and you can still play hard too
