I love Sharon but its music i can only listen to at certain times when im in a particular mood. I also love the Flaming Lips and can listen to them anytime so this is a win win

I'm going to be honest, I personally think the original song is too over the top and bright, and it doesn't change its dynamics enough. This cover however, captures both the beautiful and haunting aspects of the lyrics. I'd like the original more if it was less busy.

Best version I've heard, out of the 50 or so I've listened to. I went looking for it on iTunes, so I could buy it for my collection, but ... no joy.

I didn't even know that this was a cover. So I tried to listen to the original.. If I may me honest: awful. And really weird video. But Sharon's version is beautiful. Actually I thought that this was a sample from this (or the other way around): kzbin.info/www/bejne/gIbMd6NjlKd-Y6s

I'm a big fan of Sam Harris and his teachings. The words spoken by Sam in this video are very important to be heard. However, there are times in this video where the music was loud enough where it's in the foreground and Sam's voice was in the background and can barely be heard. Personally, I would not have added any music as this is not necessary when Sam speaks. Please consider this to be constructive criticism. For those who are looking for the non-musical version of Sam's talk here, just plug in "watch?v=GEDDNJkrkeo" on your KZbin URL.

A great voice, and a great choice to cover, this Flaming Lips song. She also covered The Smiths on "Last Night I Dreamt...". I'll have to catch her in concert though not a big folk fan (I especially like her work before she went electronica). I did like a lot of John Denver's stuff, and a few other recordings of other artists though.
