Miss Etcetorize, yes you have been gone for a very long time. I came across by typing in steampunk journals and that is how I found you. So, I put you in my favorites list and kept you there hoping that you would come back and show some of your junk journal talent. Love the journal. Thank you for sharing and hoping you come back to stay. God Bless you and your family. 🥰💖👍👍👍👍👍(🌹🐞🦂🌵)

Wow these are so pretty. I never have success on using stencils and ink pad the whole time I kept thinking how pretty these would be if I took them to the sewing machine and use the same color thread as the flowers and soda border around the card. Hopefully I get motivated by your inspiration and give it a try again fingers crossed I have better luck this time with stencil and ink

Hi Tamara! I just found your channel -- and I am AMAZED!!! Your work is incredible!! Beautiful!! And unique!! I have immediately subscribed!! :-D I just don't understand that ONLY 71 views?? I seek and watch tons of this type video (and I just now found your videos) . . . you should be WAY UP THERE!! Many others with HALF your talent get more views. I don't know why? Plus your voice is soothing and your hands/fingers like a model!! LOL I will be binge watching more of your videos, so I apologize if there is more information you have shared that I do not know yet . . . and, I do hope that you are well and all is good your way!! I see it's been a year since you have added new content . . . and I wonder why? Perhaps you have another channel? Please let me know . . . for some reason I compelled to want to know more. I think you are THAT GOOD!!! (well . . . and I LOVE BUTTERFLIES!!) Sincerely, Lori

You are so kind Lori, thank you so much for your comment. I’m happy you enjoy my videos. I was obsessed with journal making for quite awhile, but eventually I burnt out and wasn’t finding the joy in it that I used to. So, I’ve taken a break, but I think often of coming back. For now, I hope you’ll be inspired by lots of fun projects on my channel. ☺️

Good morning,. I have watched & watched over again, following each step, with ur minella envelope with mod podge, I have left the first side dry,. However I'm having so many issues,. I put down a generous amount of mod podge, then gently laid the napkin on the paper, but it doesn't look good at all,. Did u iron the envelope after the whole process was done, B4 u assembled the note book, it's very depressing to follow exactly how it was done, and it didn't turn out. We're there ANY tips or tricks that u have done, that wasn't mentioned on the video? I 4got to mention, I used a napkin and not wrapping paper, I wonder if this was my problem??

Good morning, thanks so much for watching. Sorry to hear that you’re having some frustrations. There are no secret steps. I have other videos that specifically mod podge with napkins that you might enjoy. ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/l6eklqxvrt1-baM - making Tags with Napkins). My tips are, make sure you’re only using one layer of a napkin when using it with mod podge (remove the white layers), and secondly, just embrace whatever texture you do get. You can enhance any wrinkles by gently inking over top to give a really nice aged effect. Just have fun and keep experimenting

Just thinking PJ, you might want to try using a brayer, that’s the tool I used to roll over top to get even distribution.

Thank you so much, you are very generous. A lot of what I do is just trying things out. I haven’t made any journals in quite awhile but your compliments are encouraging me to think about getting back into her craft room. (PS, you can use any size envelope and just make it work) 😉

Hello there, PJ here. I'm in luv with ur wallet journals, I have a two part question? The wallet you had done with roses 🌹 is breathtaking, if I'm correct u mentioned that you did not decoupage the top of the paper roses? The second question is, for the others that u created with a napkin, Did you go over the top with mod podge, or only the initial bottom like the paper roses. I am a newbie to this paper crafting, & decoupage, I have never done this B4. Could you please advise me exactly ur processes on paper & napkins ? Ty so much, I want to make one for my great granddaughter ❤️❤️❤️

Hi PJ, generally when I decoupage, I lay down one layer of mod podge, put the napkin down (sort of like you would with wallpaper, gently guiding it down the object rather than setting the whole thing down at once). Let that dry because some of the glue will seep through the napkin, then lay another layer on top to seal it all in. As you get more comfortable, play with only doing one layer underneath. Always remove the white layers of the napkin and only use the printed layer. It’s just paper and glue, so play with it and have fun. If you still have issues, you can try spritzing your napkin with a bit of water, I never use this method but others like it. Good luck

I just stumbled across your channel this morning and you have a new subbie! I love your specimen cards. I am fixing to go to the coast with my parents a few days and I dislike just sitting around in the evenings, but......I can’t take my craft room with me, so this will be just what I need to do. Not many supplies to lug but enough to complete ephemera while away. Thanks for sharing your ideas. And I love the side view of your video. It’s like I am sitting beside you instead of hovering In the rafters of your room.
