I like the demonstration drills on futsal rotations offensively/defensivly on the movements and where to go given certain formations. I am a academy and college coach but always looking for new content on futsal for the off-season.

Thank you, we are trying to show as much as we can! Is there something in particular that you would like to see demonstrated and analyzed? By the way, how do you feel about the coaching points through the mic'ed up coach? Do you find them useful or not care for them?
@madhattttter098Ай бұрын
@@FUTSALTODAY I believe The coaching points are helpful. I always prefer to witness & hear how other coaches operate... As far as possible footage for youth, I like to see futsal exercises that use the box shape rotations in possession and how you would build out of the defensive third from a 4 sec. pass in/goal kick with the fixos/alas during oppositions high pressure?
@FUTSALTODAYАй бұрын
@@madhattttter098 that is great idea and we actually work on that regularly with our new players that join our winter teams as it is very common for other teams to high press a team that is trying to get the ball in play from the goalkeeper. One of the biggest challenges in futsal is traying to get players moving to receive the ball from the keeper and creating passing lanes to break out of a high press and attack. We will post a video with a training session of this. Thank you for the feedback

@@FUTSALTODAY correct our u9 & u10 female youth teams struggle with it on outdoor 7v7 stages as well against an athletic superior opponent. But futsal as we know is a different type of pressure/environment. I’m Trying to learn the specific movements and patterns better. But Thank you for your time again
@FUTSALTODAYАй бұрын
@@KyleDeRosa-k3o Agreed, futsal is definitely a different type of pressure...much more than soccer...as on steroids. We always encourage players to constantly try to think more than just kick the ball. Futsal is all about mental speed not just physical speed. We have some videos where we explain variations that may help you: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZjVaZelrN1jmMU and kzbin.info/www/bejne/gIfMYnysprNpiLs - Thank you for your feedback!!

Clickbait - Sorry, this whole video was kids doing individual skills. Very boring at this age. The big frustration is how misleading the title is.
@FUTSALTODAYАй бұрын
It is not clickbait but an honest mistake. We uploaded the wrong video with the wrong thumbnail. We have gone and changed the thumbnail and adjusted video description. Here is the link to the proper uploaded video about Opening up hips: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4jIe3ymqb90jdk

Blue obviously, it never use the sole of his shoes, that’s a fundamental part of futsal

That is why the video states its a soccer player vs a futsal player. Using the sole is a key difference.

We can see if we have all footage available and post it under regular videos. Is that something that interests you? As we approach the winter futsal season we will be working on 1v1s and most likely will have more training session content.

Hi!! I love this sport so much. I am aspiring youth coach coaching in Madison wi coaching my daughters teams. 9, 11 years olds. They really need a lot of technical training/ball mastery. There is so much stuff online I am completely overwhelmed!! And not a lot for young players like you said. I have a 2 hour session with these girls once per week. Can you recommend a a starting point for helping these girls get their individual skills to the next level. Maybe you have a program i could purchase from you?? I loved the videos where there is a young woman coach doing basic passing and receiving drills. These are exactly what I am looking for. Thanks!
@FUTSALTODAY2 ай бұрын
Completely understand. Having a female trainer for girls is very important if you can find one but not a deal breaker. there are a lot of male trainers that are fantastic communicators. And at the younger ages the kids need more a good communicator than a coach who has tons of activities. At our Futsal academy we start with basics, getting really good at trapping the ball with the sole, controlling it and passing it. Obviously these principles are different than in soccer as the surface and ball are different. So for example having the youth player understand why it is better to control the ball with the sole in a futsal environment than the usual instep of soccer. We currently do not have a set program but have been working on one and will be soon shared with everyone. We post daily videos of training players of all levels with different activities so folks can get an idea of how to approach it, and will be setting a sequence as this is a demand in it. If you have some video of your kids we can analyze it for you and give you feedback. You can give us a link with the video or share it with us via WhatsApp, under Niko Alexopoulos, 732.239.4670. Thank you for following and please keep up your feedback.

Very good point. What should parents look for in a true futsal program?
@FUTSALTODAY2 ай бұрын
Parents should ask questions about the coaches qualifications. When attending a futsal specific training session it is very obvious if it is a true futsal training session as it is pretty different than soccer training session.

Isnt that they not looking at the ball coach?
@FUTSALTODAY2 ай бұрын
That is correct. They are turning their backs to the ball, so although they are working on a certain rotation they can not see the ball so, timing, angle, space, positioning all are relevant.
