Just wondering how do you deal with rats and or possums/wildlife with young trees? I planted out a small 10m row and everything has been getting demolished by rats, i even fenced off and netted the row to keep out wallabies and possums but the rats got every last leaf of anything valuable. Including things like cover crops, eucalyptus, acacia, and all my fruit trees, planted by seed or seedlings.. Maybe i need an established placenta 1 first but seems like everyoneelse can just plant all at once.

For people used to two wheel bikes these are super counter intuitive and a bit of a learning curve to get through. but once you are comfortable easy to ride one handed etc. just need a flat field to play in to start off as it's easy to run off a road to start with.

Very informative! I have seen conflicting info elsewhere, but you go into greater depth, seem to have greater experience, and make far more sense. For example, others say a water pup has a more extensive root system than true pups and grow quicker, but as is typically true - the corn contains the stored energy and vitality. So subscribed. Needless to say kiwi women are also among the most beautiful in the world, and have a down to earth charm second to none - which makes the vid especially easy to watch.

when you are ready to out faze the tithonia how does one go about that? i have a small food forest in my urban backyard, and i use tithonia you help combat the kikuyu, Ive cut it all back, and have left it elevated to dry out, Ill chip it in late winter. But the stumps are going to resprout and well i dont need them anymore, what's the best way to put them to rest? we get the odd frost but its not enough to kill them, thanks (from hawkes bay)

If you have dead,diseased and dying branches, do you chop and drop them onto the forest floor to mingle with everything else?? I live in U.K.
@permadynamicsnewzealand2698
@permadynamicsnewzealand2698 4 ай бұрын
It depends. Often branches die when the roots are attacked by fungi when the tree is about to finish anyway. So then the branches are not carrying a contaminating disease and can be left as mulch. However if it were say apple cankers which can spread then we take them to a bonfire pile and make biochar.

Hi, I'd like to say I had the best dealer to share. But I think it's probably better to see what's available now as this was a while ago and so much has changed in china. I would recommend going for an all up price including shipping to your door as this makes it much easier and you probably won't need a broker (it's pretty easy getting one in any case). The way to do it is contact a few likely companies that have what you are after, and keeping the language super simple (unless you get a staff who obviously has great English which I have often got) explain what you are after. I have bought a few things from Alibaba now and heaps from AliExpress and all of the things have showed up, all have been good quality for the price and on the occasion of not being in good condition I've got refunded by Ali company. So it's safe as eBay in my experience. Good luck
