No config changes needed - betaflight will use the lowest kv and match all other motors automatically

“Battery” is the radio battery level, not the quad. You can do a “discover sensors” in the Telemetry screen on your radio with the quad plugged in. Make sure that Telemetry is enabled in the Receiver Tab of betaflight too.

The only things I can think of that potentially might case that - 1. Incorrect Baud Rate set for GPS in ports tab and config screen. 2. Incorrect protocol set for GPS in config tab. If Ublox try NMEA perhaps? Just guessing really though, sounds like you did configure everything and discover sensors properly. What version of Betaflight and what model GPS are you using?

I can’t say it’s better or worse, but different in a good way… honestly BF 4.5 feels pretty close… the tracking and nose hold seems to be better than BF for me on defaults, but I custom tune all my quads anyway 😆 The only thing that had me for a while was the rate conversion, the rate curves don’t completely match up betweeen Fettec and betaflight so I had to change my expo a little bit.

I’ve been really liking the alpha! Especially this mamba alpha aio for $80 😃 half the price of the Fettec fc and esc combo I was using before and it seems more robust to me, I’ve crashed it a ton and haven’t blown an esc (which was my norm with Fettec esc’s). The alpha configurator is done through their online gui, but all the functions and settings are really similar to betaflight, easy to understand and logical. All of the pages have explanations at the bottom to let you know what the settings are for too, without having to pull up a wiki page 😁

In the Model Setup Screen just below the Model Name, set Timer 1 to ON, and set the switch to activate the timer. You don't have to name the timer, but you want a Count Down timer, set a Start Time to count down from, and set the Value to Remain. Set Persistance to OFF, but Enable the Minute Checkbox, and set the Countdown to Voice. Next to Voice, set the value to 10 seconds, for a 10 second audible alert. You will need to set a special function to clear the timer with another switch though.

you can add rx batt and other telemetry widgets in the secondary main screens. you can add them in the telemetry screen i think

@@Rogue_FPV yeah, id love to build and fly one but im really loving this AOS 3.5" V5 i built, its so confidence inspiring and i want to fly like i can on the sim, once the soaking wet ground dries up, ill try some tricks out as if i crash it wont get caught up in a muddy bog! One day maybe, this summer im getting the bus to some old ruins and estates around near i live, but all it means is props, moters and lipos, and framekit, i have the fc esc and walksnail, so what frame and motors do you advise?

@@rcaddict9558 I have 2806.5’s on mine, and they are very efficient, I’m getting around 20min flight fine with a 6s li-ion pack and a GoPro 😋 Honestly though a 25xx motor would do it for a 7” just wouldn’t be as efficient.

In the Receiver section, you can try changeing the receiver protocol from Auto to Crossfire. My wiring is the same as yours TX to Sig RX to TLM.

@@Rogue_FPV yea tried that it also picked up reciever once said it was crsf but not now and it told me fc wasn't turned on! What does that mean?

@@mitchfowler646 if you are getting a message that says Fc not activated, that means that there was an error with the online activation of the FC. If it doesn’t eventually activate, you’ll have to contact Fettec support and give them the serial number number so they can activate it.

Had to map to id in radio never had to do b4 but now everything backwards my radio is aetr but it is actually reversi g aux channels roll and pitch backwards not connecting to computer sometimes then says in bootloader mode all motors wont idle up switches between lf and rf can't spin motors up in program now switched 3 usb cables does with all this thing is crazy. Followed you and drainman setup videos. Have no idea how to fix

with the quad plugged in and bound to your radio, on the radio go to your model telemetry page, and do a "search for new sensors". if you have telemetry enabled on your RX and in betaflight you should see RxBt pop up in the list of sensors. Then you can ad it as a logical switch. Sounds like your telemetry is disabled in betaflight receiver tab...

@@harshlalwani4311 on your radio. Scroll to the Model Telemetry page. Scroll down until you see the line “search for new sensors” then click on it and wait 10 seconds. Make sure to have the quad plugged in and bound to the radio, you will not gain the rxbt if the quad isn’t talking to the radio.
