Just watched the show today in Esplanade. Admiring Cheryl Tan's voice, she was shining brightly back then. Not only in singing aspect, she, as the young Yanehara, simply stole the show.. Still thrilled..

Nobody knows me Nothing before the day that I came Like others who lived and prayed for the same They don’t even know my family name Nobody knows Nobody sees me Blessed me with luck, the rules of their art I’ve been all they hoped each day from the start But no one has seen the dreams in my heart Nobody knows. Nobody knows This is my only chance; love, open my heart Years of broken dreams, all in the past This is my only chance; love, make me a part Of someone who knows me They’ve painted my face They’ve chosen my past They’ve nurtured my pride In the role that they cast But inside there’s a place A place that nobody knows This is my only chance; love, open my heart Years of broken dreams, all in the past This is my only chance; love, make me a part Of someone who shows me He loves me and knows me at last

in the end of Choson Dynasty,King Kojong was not interested in politics.only between his wife Queen Min(Empress Myeongseong) and Daewongun(Kojongs farther) ,there was 20 year bloody power struggle.nobody cared about the people dying of starvation llike the present North Korea.Daewongun was cruel to kill a lot of western missionarys and etc,but Queen Min was far more than that.she deceived and used 3 countries(Japan,China,Russia) so many times for her own benefit and to beat Daewongun.then many people got killed.she wasted all the assets of the nation away as her shaman told her to do.she even buried enormous amont of money in mountains.thus she bankrupted Korea. its true she got assassinated by Japanese ambassador and Daewongun(not only Japan).that was collaboration by the group of Japanese and Koreans.her corpse was burnt in pine forest right away.but now many S.Koreans allege her corpse was raped by Japanese Ronin based on a fictional story of novel.but its not true. Queen Min was described as an evil woman just the way she was in the S.Korean movies in 1970s.but later the musical which beautified her as the Queen of a tragedy(the victim of Japan) got so much popularity.and the history was rewritten(Korean history is born from fiction).if western people want to know the truth,they should compare it to the documents before 70s,its kind of neutral. now S.Korean goverment puts all the blame of annexation on 5(or 7) politicians including the then Prime Minister Ye Wanyong, insulting them as betrayers. but at that time,once Korea was allowed to be independent fromThe Qing Dynasty(China) by Shimonoseki Treaty.however they failed and gave up finance reconstruction and modernization.they had no choice but to get annexed by Japan or Russia.then pro-Japanese faction won the initiative,they requested for help to Japan so eagerly.this means firstly,the annexation was Koreas demand. in Japan,the group of Yamagata Aritomo was positive to get Korea to make it the millitary buffer area from Russia and China.on the other hand,the group of Ito Hirobumi was passive as it would cost too much to rebuild Korea(he was RIGHT). but as a Korean terrolist,An Jungeun assassinated Ito to save Korea from Japan.next year Japan came to annex Korea.so its impossible to understand An is worshiped as the national hero in S.Korea now. S.Korean Goverment educates her people that only 5 or 7 betrayers gave the country without agreement of the King.but its not true.at that time the majority of the people inculding the biggest political party(1000000 members),Iljinhoe(一進会) chose the other nations rule to survive(this is one of the reasons they try to make Japan so bad to erase the shameful past). and the then King Sunjong was not interested in politics eather like his farther Kojong,so he left all the decision-making to the cabinet.after all he agreed with the annexation in return for well treatment after abdication.actually Sunjong signed The Japan-Korea Annexation Treaty together with Ye Wanyong.and the document is preserved in Kyujanggak Archives of Seoul University.thats why i really dont understand if S.Koreans dont know about it or hidden by the Goverment or try not to believe the truth. ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E9%9F%93%E5%9B%BD%E4%BD%B5%E5%90%88%E3%83%8B%E9%96%A2%E3%82%B9%E3%83%AB%E6%9D%A1%E7%B4%84#/media/File:General_power_of_attorney_to_Lee_Wan-Yong_signed_and_sealed_by_Sunjong.jpg

@JacquesdeJef9 жыл бұрын
@JacquesdeJef9 жыл бұрын
@JacquesdeJef9 жыл бұрын
