Love it, I'm learning that one, so much power. If this was a cartoon, the loft hatch would be blowing off and the picture falling off the wall!

Sounding crackin mate. Did you pick up the Gary West tune by ear, or did you manage to get some sheet music for it? Just was looking to learn it myself. However, I much easily follow your fingers here!

Gordon clearly demonstrates how to take a riff or riffs and play them on another instrument. If you literally play the guitar either legato or picked it sounds horrible honestly on bagpipe. You have to make the riff come alive. I heard him when i was considering learning bagpipe and instantly decided i wanted to.

I’m done trying to get a consistent true scale out this thing. Even on low a, it suddenly sounds like a short wave radio. I’ve tried all sorts of settings. It’s fit for the bin if it just produces so much frustration. Years ago in the early 2000s, I had an electronic pipe made by David Nail. It was great. I wish I hadn’t sold it when I was a bit short of cash.

They sound amazing! I watched this video soon after you posted it and thought maybe one day I might add a set to my own collection. Now, I have my order in and I can't wait to play them. Without realizing it I ordered the same blackwood and ivory (no metal) setup you have. Do you still think the Ezeedrone and Kinaird reeds are the way to go? I have Cannings in my set of Hendersons and they sound great, but I know Fred's pipes are a whole other beast.

Congrats on getting a set on order, Brian, you'll love them honestly! Also very exciting that they're taking orders- looking forward to seeing the rest of the product line up! I've ended up putting a Willie McCallum Bannatyne bag on them with a trap dri bottle and the Bannatyne dri Flo system. Still got the ezees in and the Kinnaird, can't beat it!

Hey man what’s the embellishment with all the high A strikes called? And how do you get them consistent on the pipes. I can do it on the practice chanter, buts it’s a different story on the pipes
@KyleHowie
@KyleHowie Ай бұрын
I think this is the HA triplets you mean? I swipe down then swipe back up when playing more than one strike in a row on HA, makes it much easier!
