It really is man. When bf1 first came out it was honestly kinda whatever. I think we didn't appreciate it enough. No HUD. Just the outlines of your squad so you aren't completely lost, and every second you play is like having full control in a cutscene. If you have access to bf1 or if it's still on sale for 2 bucks id recommend giving it a go this way. It's not even about winning. It's just spectacular visual enjoyment

@@adamkhanpersonal so if you find a pirate controlled star system go there, and then jump to another pirate controlled system, and repeat I think it takes 5 times in total with no normal stars in between, and I think you have to be playing for at least 3 hours before hand, and on the 5th or so jump as you come out of warp theres a space encounter where you have to save a civilian freighter that's being attacked by this giant dreadnought, you can destroy the warp drives so they cant escape, and then blow up all their giant laser cannons so they cant really fight back, at that point the ship will surrender and you can claim it. Its Also a super fun space battle. Happy hunting brotherman

Thanks mang, it's called a dreadnought it's a pirate freighter you can get it by saving a civilian freighter fleet being attacked by it. Keep warping to pirate controlled systems and you'll find the event

Ayyy thanks man. I've built a good few of these around Euclid and every one of them I forced into the ground with the terrain manipulatior then restored it all around. Huge mistake. Recently every time I go back the ground has reclaimed it. Think it's happened with this update. I have bases from years and years ago that are built into the ground with the terrain manipulatior and the terrain has saved the way I put it, so it seems to just affect recent bases. From now on because I think I'll have to rip these down and rebuild elsewhere, im going to do as you envisioned and build them into preexisting caves and holes etc

@@kavalogue yeh i learned that the hard way. Made a pretty cool base like 2 years ago and everytime I reloaded it or came back after landing on another planet it was always plugged up and i had to dig it out again :/ i now make bases underground only if there's a cave system already. At least i know it's not gonna get plugged again

I have bases from like 2017 where I first started playing wth terrain manipulation, and what I did is horrifying, yet somehow the terrain has completely saved and never filled in. It's actually starting to make my brain itch. I don't get why it's happening recently, your dead right every time I return assuming I've left the planets, I've to dig it all out again. This used never be the case. Hopefully they'll fix it

@@Tommyg-rq6lj i had over 90 bases, I've spent the last week going back and deleting ones I don't want, and these seed banks i decided to keep and update, feels like a huge waste of time now because no one can explore them. If I allow players edit the terrain on my base to dig in and see themselves, someone eventually will ruin it, so if I don't it means they can't get further than the first room. Always something bruh

One thing comes to mind, when you build something the game displays the object description and the cost of materials, under the pop up icon there is a label that says, at least for me, "terrain modification full" or something like that with a red circle marked with an X, it may have to do something with that

Much thanks man, yeah believe it or not that's what I was going for. If people arrive there they'll find a relatively normal player build base where it's just the requirements mostly, but if they do explore the water they find everything here. It's meant to be off putting like "oh this is trash" but if you do explore you are somewhat rewarded hahahahahahahahaa. The few wholl not immediately fly away and find it will enjoy it more hopefully as there's no marker or anything down there it's by all means just the house that's visible.
