Arts and Humanities Research Council The 'disproportionate representation' of William Shakespeare has propagated 'white, able-bodied, heterosexual, cisgender male narratives' in theatre, according to a taxpayer-funded study. Do you think Shakespeare was worried about you when he wrote his plays? What is “cisgender”? Other than just another one of your “hate labels” it has no place in our society. Shakespeare gave so much to Britain and his legacy is enduring to this day. I look at you and I just see what I was expecting to see and that’s the same people with their own issues projecting onto society. After today’s exposure you are going to pay that money back. Shakespeare is a giant and won’t be changing for you lot. What a waste of tax payers money, everyone with half a brain would have known that you’d just publish this predictable garbage the saddest part is that it took our money for you to do so. I do so hope you will never get a penny again.

Along with Lundwood and Cortonwood these few mines have many stories to tell...that epitomise the industrial revolution, changes in demographics and economics...the terrible dangers...the abuse of the workers...the resistance and strength to survive of these small mining communities...until Hatchet Thatcher came along...the rich could make their money elsewhere...and by destroying the worker class...snaffle their hard-earned riches that were in the form of nationalised indusitries, and social housing...all now decimated. A nation stripped bear to its skeleton by a group of pariahs...mines, dreams, hopes and bodies alike...all buried deep down those shafts,..never to see light of day again...but once...I was there...

an arrogant archaeologist who cannot think outside of her scientific training. need to get men back in charge of archaeology and excavations, they would dispense of all the fluff. this skepticism is non-scientific but belief-orientated. She wouldn't know the actual history because that information has been lost. all they are providing is their own personal subjective ideas and they have not really done anything

Really enjoyed this thanks. Both my grandads worked all their life’s in the pits..My grandad used to tell me old stories and always mentioned the pit ponies and how he sneaked my grandmas sugar cubes to feed em darn pit when it was snap time..Crazy to think we have an energy crisis but loads of coal still under our feet..Tories wreck everything they touch and are still doing it with a un elected leader in charge..That’s not democracy..All our villages now are full of foreigners and riddled with drugs..A community destroyed

a great place to wander around and discover so many places, the Tor, the abbey, the ancient high street etc but the white spring well and temple are my favourite place to just sit and absorb the atmosphere, Glastonbury sits on the biggest intersection of leylines in the UK and it this I think that has attracted so many people over the years, they are drawn to the area without realising why, when I first visited the area it wasn't as commercialised as it is now, I suppose the hippy's of yesteryear turned into today's yuppies.

An embarrassment to the city of Newport, that the ineptitude of the labour run council still have not funded a permanent home for this boat? Its older than the Mary rose and the tourism it would bring to Newport would be phenomenal, alais the short sighted council can’t see it what an embarrassment that is, and STILL Herbert’s blindly vote this shower in.

Someone should construct a big printing jet head exactly for this purpose. Like a 1000 mm long or so. And then you'll be able to print many things simultaneously not even using a Y axis to move that head left and right. And it's just a question of a scale.

I did learn nothing about culture and the skin of people in the scripture. Ethics do not have many things that scripture has. In the scripture, Everything is not happy. Nazi is a name invented by psychopaths so if people called themselves the sasquatches, adjectives do not actually distract God. Culture is a human concept invented by humans. Culture is something nice to talk about. There are not happy subjects in criminology but there are more not happy things not including criminology. There are subjects that I do not like to think about and remember.

The issue is modern Druidry has arrived out of 'Pop culture.' Where are the first records of actual 'Druidry ' religious uses of Stonehendge? "Neolithic" and so on are just periods of how we understand time. Is it not more likely that Stonehendge was built by Brythonic tribes? ..Many of the festivals celebrated there are not English in origin. Anglo-rename and modernist in approach. Modern Drudiry is a melting pot of many ancient Celt and modern cultures taken out of context as I believe . Misinterpreted ideas have caused issues with authenticity. A much more authentic experience could be had in Wales or Ireland... It is my idea that Glastonbury and Stonehendge have been reinvented for modern Druid weekend tourists.

Check out censored historians, Alan Wilson and Baram Blacketts many decades of deep and authentic research into original documents and inscriptions, mostly (only mostly) revealed in their numerous books. A very different story of Christ, J of A, Glastonbury, King Arthur and much more. Also, take a gander at Britain's Hidden History on this platform and their website. The Glastonbury tales , if W&B are correct, were a very successful shell game, a money-making and land-grab weez.
