At the time I was worried about it starting a spin if I pitched too hard and having a pitch break and the damaged fin take over... but in retrospect I should have buried the elevator to try and save it from the second bounce. Anyways, the plane is just about repaired to wage war again... I have no regrets :)

the plane is perfect until I parachuted the tail into the ground. If you download the video from FlightPass (the dude who uploaded this one), you'll get a higher quality image... and frame by frame you can see it all unfold. When I got it back up off the ground, it was all over the place; planes without fins are slippery (the slap on the ground took the whole fin and rudder off).
