You got lucky with those carburetors. They are usually badly corroded inside and ruined when left out in the weather.

Wow. That was as cool to watch as anything I've seen in a while. I restoring my 1975 Honda CB 360t just like that and almost to the completion. Waiting for tank, side panels repainted and new decals...so on. I've replaced and painted/polished/replaced...upgraded all electrical/bearings/brakes/tires.....yada. I love this bikes. Had one just like yours and mine in College and it was the first thing I ever owned new in my life. Now at the end, I wanted it back for a while. Great video. I'm subbing and hope you have more vids.

Thanks for video I just bought one the same out of a scrap pile for 20.00 took it home put some gas in and it ran but reved way too high by your video I think the choke rod and throtel rod are switched.😁

Good question, I found out that the fuel cap was sealing to well. So a vacuum was created when I put the cap back on.

@@dutchmechanic7316 Good thinking !! I will watch for my EM300 that just got delivered. Since spark is good, I started it, but before I let it run for power check and volt check, I will change entire engine oil. The cap problem actually happened to me with an old chain saw, there was a minuscule copper filter in the cap that needed to be thoroughly cleaned. Good video !!

Thanks DM , got given one of these a few days ago & your detailed strip down helped me get my one running on the bench today , I had the head off because of a stuck exhaust valve & cleaned up the original set of corroded points. Nice old bits of kit well worth a fettle , thanks again!
