Very nice. That is one of the best mowers on earth. I have the 2008 promaster 44 xd commercial. I will never sell it. It's a beast. The new gravelys can not stand up to these older models. They were made to eat!!! I have a bearing roaring in one spindle as well. Where did you order your bearings? And how did they hold up. I don't want to switch to the cheap aluminum spindles. The original ones have 1229 hrs on them. I do commercial lawncare and they are just now starting to roar.i would like to change just the bearings. Thanks. Great video.
@danialnejati75316 ай бұрын
@jason6325 Hey mate, thank you for watching the video, yeah the older version is bullet proof machine, I ordered the bearings from F.A.G and they are rubber sealed (NOT METAL SHIELD) rubber seals have better protection against water and lawn moisture, also pressure washer and hose is not a good idea to clean the deck, the best way is scrape the grass with a paint scraper.
@jason63256 ай бұрын
@@danialnejati7531 cool. Yea i mow roughly 40 yards.a week with mine. It's defintly a tough machine. And i defintly try not to pressure wash the deck. I do take it to the car wash about once a month. But try not to wash my deck. Mainly the engine and wheels and tires.
@williambarnett54577 ай бұрын
Thank you for the video. Do you know the size of the washers used and what thickness you made them?
@danialnejati75317 ай бұрын
Hi, it depends on the size of the gap you have on your bike between frame and motor, my one was 0.4mm so I made my washers 0.35mm. That gap has to be there due to expansion in hot summer and should not fill up those gaps completely. But the issue is the gaps are way too big when they make the bike in factory and it causes that noise
@victorbooth24539 ай бұрын
Have had the same model for three years, upgraded the battery , for piece of mind for extended range. Have done roughly 4000 miles and the bike has never missed a beat; no mechanicals whatsoever, not on one charge of course ! Managed to cycle ten miles first, then approximately 9 miles up the Tourmalet in the Pyrenees to an altitude of 5000 feet from single charge and I weigh 100 plus kilos.

Currently i'm struggling to get over 200 hours.... using after market stens since gravely switched from cast iron to aluminum. Anyone have a good source for this bearing? I'm seeing them at $40 a piece, buy two bearings for nearly $90 and I'm better off getting another sten spindle assembly. I will say I'm hard on stuff, branches get mulched. Wondering if I have the tension spring to tight....
@danialnejati7531 Жыл бұрын
The spring length should be 300mm if i remember correctly and the bearing, SKF is the brand i normally use (High RPM version), also try not to wash the deck, Clean the deck with a painting scraper is better than water or pressure washer

@nairodcerisola2044 Жыл бұрын
Normally it’s worse when you go up hill as the bushes are binding in the motor baskets I think if you apply some anti-seize it should come out with a one inch thread bar to unfreeze but you need to clean the bushing I put the bushing in rust inhibitor then copper slip grease👌

Could this be a assembly issue by the bike shop that assemble the bike . Not fitting the seat correctly, and not tighten things right ?MY 2020 e+3 the fluid line for the brakes does not look as tight as yours .?? I would also say the brake levers and dropper post switch was loose because first thing most people do is adjust the position of the leavers. To me you brake levers look in the wrong position. Personal preference..The light switch button is also for integrated lights that you can order . In the uk its £15 for the wire to wire to the battery ..At 8 minutes the when you are talking about the little light that comes on this is auto mode or power assist . In this mode the motor automatically detects the amount of support the rider needs . Hope this helps
