I thought that when you paid publishing royalties (the ones you pay when you sell your final record: Calle 8) you received the remix pack "for free", just because you had previously arranged everything. but it's not that way. good, i've learnt a new thing today. what is hard to believe is that your service is cheaper than the mechanical royalties :P congrats, it seems to be a difficult task!

The answer is Yes. It seems that perhaps you're getting confused between mechanical and publishing royalties. Whoever wrote the song that was sampled and/or replayed is still fully entitled to receiving publishing royalties. Nothing has changed there.

mm well, if i am for example PITBULL and i want to sample 75th brazil street. i call you, you give me the sound so i don't have to pay nicola fasano to give me the remix pack then i have to pay royalties to nicola BUT i didn't pay him to give me the remix pack so i didn't need to call you? :) the point is: you are cheaper than ther remix pack and i still have to pay royalties?
