the beef wasn't even about the sound , there were people on both sides starting the beef saying shit to each group making false claims about one another to start the beef. Layzie bone went to twistas house and they talked and squashed it cause Lay knew it was all b.s

Kwame is from a section of Queens called East Elmhurst, which is the same area that Kid and Play is from. He was only 16 years old when this came out. You should definitely react to his song, "Ownleeue"(Only you).

you can't be a goat if you don't write your own stuff. Pete & Bas and Frank & Maury are not real brah.... They are actors P&B from UK, F&M from the US, who are front men for the actual artists who write and perform the music.....

Havoc is the best Producer on the Mic. Behind DJ Premier, he's the 2nd best Hip-Hop Producer ever in my opinion. RIP to Prodigy. Definitely 1 of the most underrated Emcees.

Meh, Hav was a fucking beat maestro but a lot of his rhymes were trash. Imagine if Mobb Deep was P and Big Noyd with Hav just sticking to the beat.

The genius of the song is that its cool, and hard, and its about how they DIDN'T get the girl... 💯😎 Its REAL life. Not that bullshit hip hop, fake ass, bragging about shit you aint... Pharsyde is HONEST. Without any fear of what anyone thinks. And its ART... for the honesty 💯

excellent reaction. i see Bob Marley in the background, so maybe you'd enjoy The Big Push - I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop. the 'Hip Hop' is the Dead Prez song. would love to see you react, a bit different than what you usually react to.

I have different playlists and rotations, this joint is placed in so many, it is so good. I like when you said this... is hip hop. I also like how you made a connection between the Bay and Cali, with Brooklyn. Much respect to Yasiin Bey, but it is Mos Def's music that made an impression on me and my brothers, so I can't help but always call him Mos. KJ always in the Bay
