Low front diff fluid will not lead to steering problems. The power steering works off of the hydro pumps only. That fluid is only to lubricate the gears. In fact, you can use gear oil in this - it does not have to be UDT-II

Excellent video, not many out there with 2 cyc engine example. Selecting an endoscope is difficult. So many Chinese models and many are useless due to inadequate depth of focus or just plain bad focus at the factory of the lens to the camera chip. Nothing can be done except return the unit. Yours looks pretty good but 5 years ago and unknown brand.

Sorry to hear about the thieves, I watched all those videos you did on that 2100. I have a 2100 also that I got for $400, and had the hood missing when I got it. I made a replacement hood from a trashcan, you can see it in the couple GR2100 repair videos I have on my channel. I told the guys at the dealer that I made a trashcan hood, they had a good laugh. Then I had them look up to see how much a replacement hood costs, then I was the one laughing! Nice video as always!

Test your starter solenoid! For the valves to be that tight, and have it still not crank good, means the valve clearance wasn't the issue. I have the valves on my 25HP Courage (1200 hours) set to .005 and it cranks perfectly. But the solenoid was weak when I first got the mower (jump it to check). Replaced it...and voila! And I just use a cheap Walmart 200-something amp battry[sic].

If your vice was bolted down to a bench and not flea market sales table, or if you had an anvil you could have gotten those adjustment brackets straight. I've seen people down in Mexico pour molten hot steel down a shaft running down the side of their building to cast a cracked engine block back together successfully. The task you had was relatively simple compared to all of the stuff they had to do and they were using primitive tools. Why did I waste my time watching this, better yet why did you attempt to film it. I couldn't see most of the work you did at the beginning because you refused to scooch the mower out to make room for the camera. I mean I'm sorry, but this video was frustrating to watch.

When you starter relay contacts gets worn it will not carry the amperage going to the starter. Also, if your putting a higher cranking amp battery in check to make sure of the max amperage rating of the starter relay or it will burn out your relay.

Pressure washer in storage for four years. Would not start, old gas. Took it to shop flushed out old gas, new oil, and fresh spark plug. Brought it home, quickly started, ran until the gas tank was dry, or so I thought, Filled it back up, the pull cord would barely pull, not enough to start, and not much at all. No ideas what happened or if I should take it back to the shop for evaluation. The owner of the shop initially tried to charge me for a new carburetor they didn't change. Fortunately the repair person walked by and I asked him if it needed a new carb, he said no just a good cleaning, saved me $ 75.00. This machine probably doesn't have three hours on it. Iam worried that the motor or pump seized? Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure there is no pressure in the pump. Pressure can keep the engine from turning over

Just for anyone watching this video now, I know it is two years old. They sell the upgraded kit with the nylon spacer for the steering rack. It holds the rack up against the gear so the teeth are not just meshing on the very edge of the teeth. I have two of these mowers and both have the upgraded steering rack. Grease is not the reason they wear out, there is a lot of stress on it when the teeth are just catching on the tip and not seated down to a full teeth mesh on these.

I was wondering if you can help me. The black wire that comes from the magneto where is connected to? It could be to kill the engine. But If I grounded I get no spark if I disconnect the wire I get spark and to kill the engine I had to place it against any part of the throttle assembly to kill the engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated it. Thanks

These shocks are great. I have them on two of my trucks. Wouldn't recommend them on the front of a torsion bar suspension, the camber angel will change causing handling issues and uneven tire wear. Always block the front wheels when jacking up the rear.

Great video. better than most. However the 12.18v is a dead battery. 12.5v is a dead battery. 12.75 and great is a good battery. The one thing you forgot also is to adjust the gap. The fact that you were getting voltage, and climbing, shows that it was working but that gap is to wide.
@bertgrau393425 күн бұрын
12.75 would be over charged 12.6 is maximum for 12 volt batteries.

This is the exact same problem I'm having with my new mower. It was fine at first but after 2 yard mowings totaling 3 hours of run time it never started again. It jammed up on the compression stroke and the starter could not turn it over at all. Now that I see it your answer to the problem was so obvious it seemed unthinkable. I'm going to try it this morning as soon as it warms up a bit. Thank you so much for your genius solution. This Kohler engine has lots of problems it seems. I'm regretting ever buying this $2500 44 inch cut Albatross
