I disagree with you saying God does not speak anymore. You have said that you don't hear God but when he speaks you know,,how ironic!!. How can you know a voice you don't hear? Jesus said my sheep hear my voice and they follow me, so if you don't hear him how can know when he speaks? How do you recognize a voice you've never heard?. So no you are totally wrong! God warned us that in the last days there will be false prophets but the same God also said that in the same last days he will pour out his spirit on all flesh and young men will prophesy, old men will dream dreams. And Just to remind you, the fact that something false exists also means that truth does exist as well. So as we living in the last days we are in the season of the Holy Spirit. And if you understand the holy spirit, he has his gifts; prophecy, Tongues, interpretation of tongues, Healing, Deliverance etc. What am Trying to say is that God still speaks. He can speak to you in dreams, visions or even prophecy. Either way he speaks, and yes true men of God ( Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors as well as teachers) just as the bible put it, they still exist. And if you receive a prophecy and you think you need to plead with God to change it, he can. Just as he did it for king Hezekiah who was told that he was going to die but later on God changed his own prophecy and added him another 15 years .
