This is so awesome! Ive probably played this 50 times now. It's always a treat when Mike steps to the front of the stage! Hope to hear this one at Freedom Hill in Michigan this August. ❤

I've heard others cover this song and they are also great singers but they don't seem to capture the vibe/essence of it. Sierra does and I love it.

They sounded & looked great to start! I’m sure that Duanne was channeling some Charlie Watts upon that opening drum roll.

Killer version ... thanks for sharing! Saw them at the LA Greek Sunday and it was a stunning show as never seen Derek enjoying himself more, looking out at the audience and smiling lots. He turned 44 Saturday eve while playing San Diego and apparently was sort of embarrassed to be center of attention. So think Sunday eve was a relief that he was no longer that 😂

I've been going to concerts for 51 years, yes. Ironically, my 1st was Allman Brothers at Winterland. Anyway, point is that seeing them do this song so perfectly was probably the most emotional I've ever been at a concert. It was just so beautiful. Thank you Mr Topdogger for posting this version so I can relive it again and again.

I would take off from Cape Cod up to Johnny D's in Somerville outside beantown my roommate the late great Arron Baird worked the stick there for blue's jam.....Susan's playing was on point then ! But her vocal prowess was incredible.... her man at the time Timmy Guerin and I thought wow the two of them? As he is a great guitarist, That said I have watched her evolve since the early 90's and I am very proud of her path, she is always humble and sincere when she thinks the band, guest musicians, and the audience with her blessing at the end of the show! A top-notch musician who comes from humble beginnings and through practice and dedication to her tradecraft not unlike Mr Trucks it's a blessing the two of them found each other and with that Union look at the grace we have musically and they both played with everyone who's anyone thanks again Mr Top dogger.......keep up the good work!
