Lots of grief for little return. I take a 5'6" X 7'6" sand table to wargame shows and it goes in the passenger seat. I've been doing sand tables ( portable and static) since the 80's.

No one does anything remotely close to what this company does. Centurion wants to keep things secret during sensitive scenarios for 2 reasons (i.e. Centurion just doesn't let people record during a sensitive scene); releasing some information via video clip will absolutely ruin the experience for others who have not been in a certain scenario or to one of our games. Second, this is Centurions niche in the world of MILSIM, so much so its renamed to combat simulations. Centurion would rather not have imitations because the experience will most likely be watered down versions. This in turn may effect uncommitted players causing them to stick the MILSIM they know and are comfortable with. Not wanting to be imitated includes safety of players. Many scenarios are high risk that are mitigated extensively by Centurion's professional staff. Not sure why you took offense to such policy when you could have simply asked for clarification.

Considering the angry childish rant you posted on facebook about taking sd cards. I have to wonder if this vid being linked on your facebook page is just damage control. Also what if anything does anything in this video show about the kinda of experience you can expect to see at one of your events?

It's not damage control. Its who we are. Retired SOF combat veterans with over 50 years of combined experience. Second, yes, some of what is on this video you will experience at a combat simulations game though it does more to promote our experience in the military. For more videos on what its like to be at our events, there are plenty of videos on KZbin from our 3 years + operating.

Thanks again. With all my other builds I will make one for myself. Sometimes using graph paper is ok but a scale model in Sand Box will make my home builds even better. Time isn't an issue plus this will defiantly help plan out my thoughts before the build.

Thanks for this info, going to build two for neighbors children. The lid will be removable for safety reasons and feral cats. Also maybe caster wheels. Went for a short training session in Fort Jackson but briefly used the training sandbox. Now I'm approaching retirement I will finally have time to improve my woodworking skills. Thanks again Reg.
