I remember when I see Angela Landsbury in the tv serie"Murder she wrote".In her actor career she was playing in many movies she was also playing in the movie."Death on the Nile" from 1978 who`s mabye the best version of Agatha Christies crime novel. In oktober 11 2022 was the party over for Anglea Landsbury. And Iam happy that I got the exsperience that time when Anglea Landsbury was creative as actor,

Lucy, not trying to knock your trying to be helpful, but shouldn't the lack of a Hungarian accent be a good indicator they are not related? lol

I don't care how funny Lucy was, there'd be no show without Ethel. Its like Ralph and Norton. Needed that right " side kick".

Even though Ustinov isn’t physically the correct type for Poirot, his vocal inflections are superb and very funny. All of the Christie movies with him just have so much humour and class. The current Brannaugh series is slick and polished and are enjoyable but the humour is missing entirely.

This looks quite camp and a bit silly. Anne Bancroft always overdoes it, a bit.

Yes, that explains her Oscar, half century career & dozens of credits & other award noms. Mrs. Robinson alone is an icon & she played it so cool in that 1 she was 🔥.

In the end, the writers (kind of) salvaged the episode, but, oh, man... Until then, its only redeeming feature was Vivian Vance's priceless facial expressions. The skit was just mean, ugly, and uncomfortable to watch.

“I have always thought of Christmas time as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time; when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow-passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys.”--Charles Dickens
