Daan Blocker sure plays a great Democrat in this episode.

Amazing how Democrats ran things back then in the fictional town of Mecca the same way they run the actual whole f'ing country now.

Wouldn't it be nice to walk, run, or even crawl up to a machine and dial the numbers up or down without the penalty of aging, or losing a stasis of experiencing, or being? Unfortunately these fleshly body shells we live in, AND everything empirical aroundus us just ain't cut out of creation that way. If impractical and impossible, it's OKAY to dream now and then again; right?

Where they said the heat Faulkner real war so I guess he was tired of the battle already. It's rough to fight all your life and still never seem to be able to have a lot of grown that you take care of. How many seasons in this country too many corrupt evil people to.

My last name is Sorg and I live in Canada. I haven’t been able to connect this branch of the Sorg family to mine yet, but my ancestors came from Germany as well so there must be a connection somewhere. I hope to visit Middletown someday to check out the mansion and opera house. I really look forward to it because this is so cool.

Aunt Bea (Frances Bavier) gets conned by Ward Cleaver (Hugh Beaumont). Where was Andy Taylor (Andy Griffith) when she needed him? And what would The Beaver (Jerry Mathers) have thought? I know June (Barbara Billingsley) would have popped her pearls (just to think of it all) while Wally (Tony Dow) would have Just laughed it off before being reprimanded by both parents for doing so. Of course Eddie Haskell (Ken Osmond ) would have given Ward some very serious sage advice on how to have successfully pulled the whole thing off (while complimenting June on her now naked neckline). Of course Larry Mondello (Rusty Stevens) would just continue munching on his apple until he thought he heard hi his mom (Madge Blake) calling him home (to wait until his father got there).

I was born in 1945, so I was 5 when this program first aired. I did watch this program in my teens and I loved it. I like how the panel participants evolved and I love the professionalism and sense of humor of the panel. It is shocking in this date, 2024, to see panel and guests smoking, but fortunately that practice has changed. Wish we had programs of this caliber today. I love being able to review these programs! I am 79 and find these programs very entertaining.

Interestingly, the host only asks the male members of the team what they do for a living. I guess it was assumed that women didn’t work at that point.

at about the 4:50 mark the woman lit a cigarette, the scene went for about 2 minutes and not once did she put the cigarette back in her mouth after lighting it, she doesn't smoke, that was subliminal advertising, smoking had zero to do with the script, they really were evil back in the day, weren't they? the way they slime an add into the show and our conscious mind doesn't notice it but our subconscious mind does....and Big Tobacco knows how it works.......Hollywood were just whores who took the money, I enjoy the shows but they can't urinate on me and tell me it's raining, I know what they are doing

22:01 Well, this certainly isn’t the way they do it in 2024. Today, cops celebrate whenever they kill somebody. Why was the female crook not charged with the kid’s death?
