Yeah I've had a setw of these and I do get what you say about the second usage for cold weather. Mine are A too and I feel like I need a larger set. The jacket fits very well but the pants are a bit tight as I bend my knees. I picked these up for about $30 but that was around 2006-7. They're so compact. I'm thinking jof getting a set of mediums or even large. It's raining today in Melbourne. Just drizzling as it tends to do so these pants and jacket are a godsend. Rode home last night about 37kms and I only had the jacket but it worked well. I'll put the pants back under the seat I think because even if they're a bit small, they're better than nothing. Your indicator flashlight looks like you were turning right as it's on the upper right side of your Speedo.

started riding at 16 and still riding at 69 i am giving up my trick fzs1000 and getting one of these as said singles are a different type of ride but this newish wave of single is a different ride to older singles its a nice motor thought about the 2016 model looked at one and to me the 660 looks better built anyway all to their own getting one of these and looking foreward to it thanks

You have to like and understand big singles and how they develop power and torque, if you don't it'll not suit you, you simply won't be able to ride it. The MT03 is a supermoto 😎

Great video, but I'm pissed off that we don't have this tenere in the US. It's a great bike for riding to work and riding the canyons. This really sucks!

Is it heavy? idk if I want a yamah r3 or ninja 650 (i know different bikes but offered them in a trade) r3 6.5 k miles and 650 with 8.3k I heard the 650 feels a bit sluggish especially at slow speeds. my main concern is the 460 lb weight 650 has. (im 5'10 and 160 lbs)

That bloodey music and the barely audible voice at the start nearly made me stop watching! Wound forward a bit n loved the rest of the report. Have,always been attracted to this type of bike after reading about Dan Walsh, bike journalist back in the early OO ' s who took a 600 down the western side of the U.S and into Central America. His monthly reports showed that these bikes are tough as nutz and that's fine by me!!

I’ve got one of these. I’m 65yrs old and have been riding for ever, passed my test when Moses was a boy! Folks dismiss this bike as a ‘beginner’ machine but it’s so much more than that!

I ride a Honda Shadow Aero 750 and I suddenly understand the "churp" I get sometimes - its gotta be changing down to 1st with the shaft drive. These bikes have got a strong engine brake as well. Its interesting how good these metric cruisers really are, such great bikes to learn on and give a really good riding feel.

Iam from Perth,I own this bike , really really awesome, u never feel like u need bigger bike . Many people underrate this little beast , well I say I save a lot of money . 270kms (8.5litres) well it’s 14 litres tank , but I fill as soon as it get last bar , and only one bad thing about this bike is brakes , it’s not that strong bite , but overall it’s a beautiful bike.
@gregpettit14392 жыл бұрын
Mate, you are on to something about the brakes. This is the 1st time I've heard it out loud. These really do brake much more from the rear. And its not just a matter of knowing how to brake, if you ride these enough, you find yourself relying on that rear one, very different from other bikes.

Couldn't watch much that music made me want to throw my phone into an oncoming truck. If your going to do a review of anything don't have music destroy and overpower what you have to say. Almost sends a message the music is more important. So it's a big dislike from me

i put brand new full knobblies on mine, hitting sand at 80kmph is scary, the front end becomes loose and wants to throw you off, i figured out to shift myself back on the seat as far as possible, it helps alot

Yeah, he's depending on the rear breaks too much; need to just get used to using those front/rear breaks at the same time. I've gotten to where I depend on the front more then the rear, and I don't get any tire noise, otherwise you can lock that rear tire up real easy on a quick stop. I've gotten my 650 classic to 90mph (145kmh) no problem, so the power is there if you need it. The bikes is well balanced and corners well, also good maneuverability at low speeds, and I don't have a problem scraping the boards. Just some some extra info for this old vid if anyone really cares.

just made a down payment on 1988 XV-250 blue. What I've learned, is that pictures do not do this bike justice. the moment i saw and sat on it, hay I'm 6'-1"the suspension is like yo sitting on a big comfy couch, can't wait to get her on the road at he same time understanding that hay this bike could take my life. So be careful ride safely, it's better to arrive alive, than to be on time.

I'm deciding between this bike and the rebel 500, the only reason preventing me from getting this is the lack of ABS, which I heard is pretty important safety feature for learner riders.
