I am very interested in learning as much about my Savior as I can. I am curious what one thinks of the scripture at Acts 17:31 where Paul says "he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a "man" whom he has appointed." Could it be true that Jesus was a man just as his closest followers said at Matthew 8:27 "What sort of "man" is this that even winds and sea obey him?" Is it possible that Jesus, as the Son of God, was truly a man who was given special gifts of the spirit? We know that many men performed miracles in the Bible. Moses, Elijah, Peter and Paul all performed amazing miracles. But they did this, not of themselves, but through the power of JHWH's holy spirit.

What you presented is interesting. I will research it more. However, Jesus always distinguished himself from his Father. I like what Stephen said before his death. Acts 7:56. "Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God."

Notice how it says he will be called God. Kings, important rulers and even angels in the Bible were called Gods, so why can't Jesus be called "God" even Satan the Devil is called "the God of this world" but we do not assume that is is Jehovah .

Well, that is a very good question because you would have thought that as it calls Jesus "mighty god" that he must therefore be the almighty Jehovah ! But that is NOT the case, for the following reasons. The Hebrew word her used is "Elohim" and does mean "mighty one" Now in today's modern language we have restricted the word "God" to the "almighty Yehovah" basically the creator, but that was NOT so in the Bible days ! Wow, did you notice how even Jehovah calls them "Gods" and HE says "I have said "You are Gods" ......so the question is HOW were they Gods ? And when you have come up with the answer to that, then you will answered the question "How can Jesus can also be CALLED Elohim (god) One last thing, it is ONLY the God and father of Jesus who is called the ALMIGHTY God, big difference between being "mighty" and the "ALMIGHTY" !

If you are called MADE AND CREATED AND GIVEN LIFE, and NEVER CALLED in the BIBLE as Creator or Maker , then you are A CREATION. ALL FROM THE BIBLE From the Lord was this (this is referring to the chief cornerstone who is Jesus) , the word WAS is egeneto (made or came into being) - Matthew 21:42 and the exact Greek word used in John 1:3 - MADE, egeneto (came into being) - JESUS WAS MADE/CAME INTO BEING FROM THE FATHER , yes, Jesus was MADE/CREATED!, See also Acts 2:36, Heb 1:5, 1 john 5 Isa 9:6 the word Prince in the Prince of Peace means PATRON ANGEL also Leader. You would think something so important as your doctrine of Jesus being created, there would be SOMETHING in the Genesis account, or John's account, that says "Jehovah created the Word'. But it's not there, anywhere. There are only 2 or 3 verses, taken OUT OF CONTEXT, that they hold to for this heresy. On the other hand, there are myriad of verses showing how He CLAIMED deity, and many that teach His eternality. Colossians 1:15-16 is the most distorted rendering of the JW bible. Adding the word "other" 4 times in their version in order to TRY and show the reader their false theology. "Firstborn" does NOT mean "First Created". That is a completely different Greek word. "Prototokos" in the Greek means "preeminent (one)". It's that simple. JWs have to change the meaning of words in order to satisfy their cult teaching.

In John 4:14 the Bible says The Father sent the Son to be The Savior, in Luke to 2:11 says today in the city of David The Savior is Born who is Christ The Lord, we see clearly who the Savior is. In Isaiah 43:11 Jehovah said I even I Am Jehovah and besides me there is no Savior hmmm the Bible is true every man a liar. Question how can The Father send the Savior and be The Savior? This proves that Jehovah Christ is Jehovah if you go to verse 1 of chapter 43 Jesus is called The Creator.

Jesus denied being God.

I find that almost all of them won't engage anyone who has a firm grasp of scripture. They are the most prideful, arrogant, cultish people, you will ever meet. They refuse to test their faith when you present clear scripture proving that they have another Jesus that can't save anyone and another gospel of faith plus works equals salvation nonsense. At least these guys engaged you. Jesus raised Himself. The Father raised Him. The Holy Spirit raised Him. One God.

They teach that Jesus is a created being. They call Him "a" Son of God. They call Him "a" god. I have over 35 verses proving that Jesus is Lord God Almighty. 1 Timothy 3: 16, " Great is the mystery of Godliness, God was manifested in the flesh..." Micah 5: 2 tells us that the coming Messiah is "from everlasting." This means that Jesus has always existed and was never a created being. Isaiah 9: 6 clearly calls Jesus the Everlasting Father. Is there more than one Everlasting Father? Hebrews 1: 8,9, the Father calls the Son, " God." Mathew 4:7 Jesus was being tempted by Satan and His response was," It is written again, thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God." Jesus was very clearly calling Himself God. Mathew 1: 23 "and they shall call His name Emanuel, which being interpreted is God with us." John 1: 1, " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 8:58," before Abraham was I AM." Clearly Jesus was calling Himself God. Thomas called Jesus "my Lord and my God." Jesus didn't bother to correct him. There's plenty more where I got those from. People need to seperate flesh from Spirit and they will begin to understand how Jesus spoke and prayed . For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. All our righteousness is as filthy rags before God. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. God is one Spirit being eternally present as three distinct centers of consciousness within God hence the Godhead of (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). One being, one essence, yet three distinct persons. As persons each is definitely not either of the other two. However, let's be absolutely clear here, as one Spirit being we can definitely say that the Father is the Son is the Holy Spirit. Jesus has always existed and was never a created being. He had a physical birth two thousand years ago of a Virgin and of the Holy Spirit, thereby He did not inherit the sin nature of Adam. Jesus lived a perfectly sinless life, was crucified, shed His innocent blood, physically died, was buried, and physically rose again from the dead, thereby Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation. This means that saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ "alone" for salvation. God immediately declares you justified and gives you everlasting life as a free gift. Salvation is absolutely free, instant, and eternal, recieved solely by trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone, and is certainly not conditional upon service to God. Service (discipleship) if you choose it can cost you everything if you go all out in serving God. Our good works, repenting of sins, and obedience, are for temporal fellowship with God here on earth and for rewards in Heaven or a lack thereof and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all. The only reason anyone will ever be in Heaven is solely by the perfect life, shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection, of Jesus Christ alone. Anything added or subtracted from this is another gospel.
