@@WanderSinghS yes, its lower than the standard baffle. In low revs as well as in high revs compared to standard baffle. Plus the engine runs smoother.

Are you the same "Tharian" from Teambhp? Btw I was thinking about some basic performance upgrades for the DuraTec Figo as well. Considering its 2024, can you suggest some safe options? I guess stage 1 remap won't make much difference as it's NA. What else can be done?

Yes, same 🙂. On the figo 1.2, dont do a remap as the engine is not a potent one so it won't make a notice able difference. Best get a BMC or K&n panel filter and a full system exhaust if possible.

@@Tharian_4555 my freestyle is stage 2, the stock muffler has surely got a deep note and whistles now. I'm skeptical if I should delete the muffler or not.

@@sarthak3396 not required. On a diesel, removing just the muffler will not make a difference in power delivery. And it will reduce the initial torque as well. If you want sound, its better to get the full system exhaust.

Hi Bro , I have read about you in Team BHP. I want to know more about the Map that you did. 1. How is in-gear Acceleration inside city post remap? (I feel a lag while flooring 4th gear at 1000rpm) 2. How is the Turbo Lag? 3. How is NVH now.? Thanks.

1- Acceleration through the gears is much quicker than stock and this is without having to floor the accelerator. 2- Lag is almost nil unless you are in very low revs in a high gear, which is there in any car. The stock engine anyway has less lag. 3- NVH is improved slightly, especially in idle.

Hi, I follow your tbhp thread and I like your ride. Couple of qns, I also have an aspire but it's not the S. Which would be better, a remap or the RD box? What I fear with remaps is that I could spend a lot of money on custom tuning one for myself and then the Ford SC could do something with the ECU like maybe update it and wipe off the entire map and the $$ spent, while with the box I think I can remove it before I take it for periodic service. Is the auto dimming mirror and official accessory from Ford? Can I get one for my aspire? Is it still possible to procure the aspire/Figo S rims? Where can I ideally find them? I really like the S rims and am planning to change stock 175 R14 to 195 with S rims, if it's impossible to find, I will have to make do with freestyle rims. Do you find the mobile dock not very useful? I can see that you have a phone holder attached. Are you planning on fitting a good HU that supports Android auto/car play? Are you still running the stock reflector setup? Are you planning on moving onto a projector setup in the future? I hope you see my questions :)

Thanks. 1- Remap is better as per me. Don't have to worry about the Service Centre wiping off the custom map as the tuner will usually keep a copy of the map with him and you can get it flashed again for no cost. You will need to confirm with the tuner about this as well. 2- There is no auto dimming mirror from Ford, the one that is sold as an accessory has only reverse parking camera on it. 3- I don't know if S rims are available that easily, Freestyle should be more easier to find. Or just go for an aftermarket one like Evo. 4- My phone size doesn't fit in the dock. Now I have a TPMS screen in the dock. 5-No plans to replace HU. Not a big fan of these big screens unless the car comes factory fitted with it. 6- Yes, stock only. Replaced once under warranty. No plans for projector as I hardly drive in dark.

Hey bud thats a great machine and I own the same Tdci. Iv got the Bs6 model and keen on getting a remap done. Spoke to wolf and Code 6, Wolf has given me numbers of 125 and 255 and Code6 states 130 and 280. Now the numbers of Code6 sound really very tempting, however Wolf charges more and gives you less numbers. Im not really sure which tuner to choose. Im an absolute enthusiast and not sure if I should go by numbers or is it something else. Kindly advise and what Remap are you using and what are the numbers you've got on a Stage1.

I had Code6 for around 9 months which was a Stage1 tune. I think it was around 130bhp and 260nm. It was fast when it came to roll on and pick up, but there was a noticeable turbo lag and the top end was almost same as stock. I needed a map which was similar to the stock map except the top end and roll on figures should be better and i didnt want that aggressive pull when the turbo kicked in,which is why I tried WM. I think mine is now 125bhp and 250nm. I went by drive-ability and not by numbers. If you want good power and that push in the seat, Code6 is good, if you want good drive-ability, less smoke and stock fuel efficiency, then WM. WM also will customize the map as per your needs.
