I can't put my finger on it, but I have always found the Beatles hugely overrated. Yes they were good, but they never changed my life. I always looked at John Lennon to be a massive Wanker and a hypocrite ( peace love and no possessions - while he beat his Mrs, abandoned his son and lived in a swanky New York apartment with literally millions in the bank ) and I think Sgt Pepper is hugely hugely overrated. In fact, when I listen to certain songs on that album like a little help from my friends, I cringe so badly. The only good song on that album for me is a day in the life. I much prefer Village Green by the kinks.
