Thanks for this video. I bought similar colour pair and after less than 3 months they started falling apart, the sole is almost completely worn off. Just used them to walk with my dogs on grass and in nature. Returned them today and waiting to hear from their customer care. Interestingly my old speedcross 4 and 3 were still in better shape after 2 years until I gave them away. It’s sad that their quality is not as good as they used to be.

Just load tge mags one less than max capacity. A LOT of mags (especially 9mm) have same ailment. Besides if you it takes you 5 - 9 shots to kill a squirrel or hit the bullseye you need to back up way further than complaining about a magazine. Another option is to do what men USED to do.., analyze, determine, and fix. Stop being soi boys who can't read an analog clock. Consume more fat and increase your testosterone. 😅

I have this one on my AR-10 Springfield Saint Victor. 308. It is the perfect optic at a great price. You can pick it up at your favorite store for $150. Every thing about the product is well designed and functional. One thing that you should know is when installing the throw lever be cautious as alone it's very susceptible to damage. Once installed it's very very durable. I put mine at the 3 position to get an even throw left to right right to left. The illumination is awesome and three choices green red and black. Black is the reticle not actually illuminated. If you have the need or desire pick it up.

When I shot mine straight from the box new, it was awful. After a couple of rounds it wouldn't fire at all. I cleaned it and ran 40 rounds flawlessly. Clean and lube first.

You can improve this gun a lot by going on Amazon or wherever to buy a captured spring and throw away that stock spring that will instantly make this reliable pistol even more reliable, and at the same time making this pistol way easier to clean and put back to gather after cleaning. It's only 20 bucks or so and the best upgrade for the money I've ever spent on any gun. Just do it, for me, i've never had a failure to feed since that up grade and I find myself cleaning the gun more often because it's no longer a hassle to deal with that spring. I have no idea why Walther didn't just do that for us when shipping it out but like I said, the good news is it's easy to get and pay for.

I just bought one without researching it and had similar issues. I like the feel of it and just hope the issues are part of breaking it in. Wish I would’ve saw this video before buying it. I happened to get mine on clearance so it was hard to pass up being used as a range gun and training gun for my wife.

For the life of me i cant figure this little bugger out. Its doesnt like anything i put at it. Im going to keep watching a few more videos to try and figure this one out. I had 2 shots and then failure to eject over and over. Tried a dozen times. I got it to teach my girls. But cant have with fun and teach them with something as awful as this. Not sure if its the gun or me, but my goodness, this was not fun.

Considering you were wearing those for work and most likely more than the average hike time per day, you are very fortunate they are going to cover you. I'm 6'1 220lbs and hike 5 days a week in mine and they are still good after 8 months. They are amazing running/light hiking shoes with soft, grippy rubber, but not 8 h/day work shoes.
@blackswampoutdoors4850
@blackswampoutdoors4850 Ай бұрын
Not all work time is constant use. No where in the manufacturer description does it state an acceptable load cycle. How could one determine the “average hike time per day” how would we explain the other pair we have with minimum wear from the same activity? Definitely a bum pair or run in my opinion. Glad i did receive a voucher for sure, thanks for watching!

@@blackswampoutdoors4850 My point is that you didn't use them for their intended use and then were surprised at Salomon's response to your warranty claim. Why didn't you claim warranty right away when the gore-tex failed in the first week or two? That's a clear warranty claim and you didn't seem to be concerned then. Your actions and choices are questionable imho. As a automotive tech I can claim two things... 1. I wouldn't chose these shoes for work and expect them to perform and last and I am outside a lot. I would purchase shoes that are suitable for the job. Salomon makes other models that would be much more fitting to your line of work. You chose poorly imho. 2. You can take a new car with a 5 year warranty and ruin it within minutes with improper use and it would not be covered under warranty. Just saying.
@blackswampoutdoors4850
@blackswampoutdoors4850 Ай бұрын
@@sjaan7370what would be your recommendation for a better shoe? Like the video states, around 90% of wear time is not on pavement or concrete. Roughly 40-60% of the time we are in wet environments. Not sure how a different shoe would suit better

I think I got it. It's a semi-problematic. I wanted to like this gun but I'm about to step off the fence. Maybe it gets better with use or maybe you have to change out the extractor and pin. All that said, every semi 22LR gun I've ever had or shot has "failed-to" something or other in about every mag...I still want to like this.

what about the 308 whitetail? vs. the obsidian foundry? and while we're at it what about the origin hoody? wick and kiln series?
@blackswampoutdoors4850
@blackswampoutdoors4850 2 ай бұрын
308 whitetail is a similar pant but changes available camo the pocket layout a bit to better suit treestand and saddle hunting methods. As for the base/mid layers you brought up. I have wick short sleeves and a wick hoody. They stick with me almost all year long to some capacity from September doves to January geese. The origin hoody is one of my favorites i have again a super versatile layer that i uses almost all year long! The Kiln series is my go to for next to skin layers especially when things get down right cold. I use the kiln crew long sleeve and long john pants. I don’t have the qz or hoody but i am sure they would be nice as well! Maybe some videos on subjects such as this would be helpful?
