you need to wash it,than its becoming more realistic (nuln oil) from Games Workshop maybe

Thanks for the video. I think you have your accent history reversed. The British of the AWI period sounded more like the average American or Canadian does today than modern UK. It was in fact the socialites in the UK-London- who “invented” what is the modern British accent.

It wasn't as simple as religious division. The French were invaders, the Anglo-Portuguese liberators so the partisans - the best fighters - mostly worked with the latter. The powerful Catholic clergy sought corrupt deals with the French to shore up their political power but most of the Catholic population favoured the Anglo-Portuguese because Bonaparte's Revolution was not only secular but threatened tradition and national identity. Don't forget that there were mass popular urban uprisings against the French which were brutally put down. See Goya. Spanish royalty was more hindrance than help. You could think of the ideological battle as between culturally distinct continuity and universal modernity - both autocratic but that was life back then...

I have watched a few of your videos today, and your choice of music is great! While I only have 1:56 (28 mm) and 1:72 (20 mm) historical minis from all major time periods, I do have the latest Games Workshop Legions Imperialis minis, and this video is another great example of how small-scale mini painting works. Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely awesome! This reminds me of when each of my 3 boys were babies/infants/toddlers. Clearly you have instilled your child with a sense of carefulness/gentleness with the terrain. And while he is uncoordinated, your own responses to his mishaps are just as gentle. Thank you for sharing!

While you won't win competitions with this miniature, the paint job is certainly an infinite improvement over an unpainted model. I would be interested to see this little chap in a unit formation within a terrain setting. Ultra close-ups are not needed, but a general feel for how your minis look when gaming. I know I have too much OCD to start painting a mini and leave it in a "viewed for tabletop play" (2 m), or to how I appreciate this stance, as a "near enough is good enough" quality. I have a habit of examining my minis' details and like to have everything as perfect as I can get, with the level of patience I can muster. My view is not a good attitude to have if I ever want to see my collection painted - I know this! I see my friends paint their units in a similar style to yours and mine are still unpainted, or get half done before I am distracted by something else. I also have a habit of batch painting. Maybe I should take a leaf out of Vince Venturella's book. In a recent video he commented that he doesn't batch paint anymore, focusing on a single mini at a time. So, gratz to completing a miniature fully painted to a standard you like. I look forward to more videos, but no pressure.

the zig zag fences were used because they were less prone to falling down over time. they were also made it easier to corner livestock, farm animals will run along a fence in order to find an exit. the zig zagging of the fences slowed them down and confused them so the farmers and ranchers were able to round them up easier. farmers eventually went with the straight fencing because the zig zag fences took up a lot of space

Not your best work if I'm honest, but still better than what I can do. Could I suggest creating a kind of story or scenario when choosing what to paint and how to present it?

there is which I hope to get around to, this was my first go at a clone trooper and I had no idea what I was doing and as its an NCO decided to go with an arm sleeve, I may change it later. Also working with Orange is a big challenge, its a mix of 2 colours of Orange too, Rust and Lava.
