Anyone know the max depth this is capable of? I’m in the beginning stages of organizing a well drilling project for Uganda and/or neighboring countries. Looking for something easy to operate/maintain and train folks on. Also something on the cheaper side.

So I must comment. This technically is a drilling machine, but only in various "soils". There's no way this thing is drilling any kind of solid material. Get a $100.000 compressor and a $10.000 air hammer just to get hung up to loose your pipe and bit. I'm sorry maby in sand it works???

Plumb should be checked after mast is raised, and there's already hydraulics on the machine presumably for the drill head and feed mechanism, why not a small cylinder for raising the drill head?

hello, do you think it would be possible to drill through rock with a drill press on a steel rack? thinking about using this in Mexico to drill through solid rock, soil it's very similar to Arizona, New Mexico and south Texas. water it's deep, 40-60 feet, but should be possible with high quality tricone bits, high quality pipes, couplers and a powerful drill press?
