Hey this goes out to Vicky Vicky cuz I'm sitting here looking at you on this KZbin if you still with this baby girl get soul train back on TV just about everybody I know he's saying the same thing you brought class and fashion to Raymond avenue and Horace Mann and you know this baby girl doing the time that you were going to Raymond avenue in Horace Mann I was like 2 years younger than you you went to school with my brother Anthony Griffin he and all the people that I knew that attended that school watchtower your address how you wear your hair how you how your shoes look how you wear your makeup your all of you brought class and style to the ghettos of South Central if you don't understand where I'm coming from I'm 68 years old as today and I'm tired of looking at the young men walking around with their pants and their asses hanging off their hips and I mean I see the bear cracks of the asses the fashion has gone down and the women the way the young girls dresses like they might as well just wear their pajamas we need to bring our kids heads up and make them stand tall and represent us as black folks people of color and I mean all people of color not just of us I said black because I'm a black woman and like you I have watched the world change now we need to change the world again for the better again my sister may my brothers rest in peace he always told me when I was going to school to look up to you and your friends and don't follow nobody because y'all walk the straight line and as y'all know everybody's party starts with a soul train line and this is year 2024 from baby parties to Old folks parties and I miss every last one of y'all on TV on Saturday mornings God bless you and stay strong 🕯️👀🌈🧑🏿🦳🫶🏿🙏🏿✌🏿

The Soul Train line is something Bandstand didn't have. Visually & Technically, they moved when the music moved, they clapped when it was over (direction between takes), but the dancing was live and the line is your own individual thing. The only Pure freedom of expression on TV. No bars, give it to the camera, the looks, the stares, gyrate, lock, pop lock, boogie, 2-step, 4 corners, look cool, do some flips and splits and kicks, turns and spin moves. Just keep it movin!!!
