There's something so magical about peak America in the 40s and 50s. We lost something and I don't know when or how but this movie makes it clear and it's one of the strongest feelings I felt and do feel when I watch it.

I watched this movie twice. It's not only a story about the mafia but also a man experiencing the peaks and valleys of his life. Everything has an ending and it's not important how brightly you shine, you still lose another treasure.

I don't mind what people say about this masterpiece, it's definitely in my top 5 favorite movies. Scorsese, De Niro, Pacino and Pesci were absolutely great

For me it is top three, along with Taxi Driver and The King of Comedy. An absolute masterpiece The Irishman, De Niro, Pacino and Pesci are monumental. Scorsese is the master of cinema.

@@dabalma Yes, unfortunately people currently have a stupid perspective of Scorsese, they see him as the man who criticized Marvel, very poor vision. It is complete stupidity that this masterpiece does not have a single award in a world where there are film awards, That alone makes it very clear to me that film awards are garbage. Killers Of The Flower Moon is also a masterpiece but in the same way the audience did not even see it, I think these last two Scorsese films are Top 5 of his filmography I would like to know your opinion of Killers Of The Flower Moon friend. Seeing them from young to this age. It was a farewell to all of them. We won't see them again, at least together or any of them in a separate mafia genre movie. The era has ended.
