The ZV1F would make for a better web camera for some people based on price and being a little more simplistic to use. While it will still have many of your DSLR features like the ZVE10, it is realistically a point and shoot camera with a flip out screen. It will be better than your typical webcamera but give you almost DSLR quality without being able to upgrade the lens.

@@aubreymcmullen ok because I don't know anything about cameras but I do have a Logitech c920 but I want a camera for the background blur effect etc... this is not my main YT page , on my main page I have a daily sports podcast and I use a green screen along with my Logitech but I want the Sony as an upgrade I don't wanna take pics I just want it for recording purposes Feedback is welcomed New sub...
@aubreymcmullen22 күн бұрын
I definitely appreciate the sub! Welcome to the channel! The c920 was a great entry-level camera for many people, but since you've been doing it a while, I understand your need to level up. For the blurry screen, there are some ways to get it via software, but it doesn't look great or natural. While the ZV-1F could be a good step up from what you have, the Sony ZV-E10 with either the Sigma 16mm lens will give you that better look. If you look at the videos on my channel here, that is what you'll see me using. If you check my description, I have some of these you can click on and go buy on Amazon. Some may still have sales. Here is what I'm going to recommend: Sony ZV-E10 or Sony ZV-E10 II camera(with or without the kit lens...I'd say get the one with the kit lens so you have an additional lens,) Sigma 16mm f1.4 lens or the Sony 11mm f1.8 lens, Elgato Cam Link, a dummy battery so you aren't running on battery all the time and have to stop and recharge, micro hdmi to hdmi cable, some sort of desk mount for the camera...I Have an Elgato mount, some sort of lighting...the Elgato Key Light Air is what I use. There are obviously other things you can get as well... I recommend a tripod, memory card, lens filters, selfie stick/Accessory Kit. I guess what I'm saying is get what your budget allows. Don't overspend unless you really know this is what you want to do and want to put the time and energy in. Think of it like a business. Again most of the stuff you would be looking at are in the description...you can also check out my other long form videos here on the channel that could help. Hopefully, this helps you!

Hey Aubrey! Nice meeting you in Best Buy yesterday. I just hit the 500 sub/3000 hour level of monetization, applied and am waiting on being approved at that level. I'm not expecting much at this level, but it is a nice milestone to pass.

Hey Tim! It was nice meeting you as well. Congrats on hitting that goal! I remember you were saying you were about to hit it. I'm slowly building this channel up as you can see. Different kind of niche than what I was doing with gaming but I think it just needs to grow legs and take off.

@@aubreymcmullen It's like a snowball, it take a long time to get it going and then you can stand up and then it rolls on its own. I think you have a knack for speaking and it will get better as you hone the craft in. Very informative video, by the way. Very interesting to see that most of the other platforms require 10k followers to become eligible. I always wondered about that. The most valuable info was that I did NOT know BB had an affiliate program!
@aubreymcmullen27 күн бұрын
Haha yeah they do. It was a little bit of a pain. I think it is called Impact. www.bestbuy.com/site/partnerships/best-buy-affiliate-program/pcmcat198500050002.c?id=pcmcat198500050002 Target and a bunch of other companies go through Impact. It seems they don't always like youtubers though unless you have a website lol. Individual companies through it are easier. Walmart? Not so much.

@@aubreymcmullen I signed up. Waiting to be approved. I've thought about a website to go along with my channel, but that's just another thing I'd have to pay monthly for. I will admit, sometimes I would rather just read a review. Having Bestbuy affiliate links would have been helpful in my latest video because the product was not in stock in Amazon, but Best Buy had a few.
@aubreymcmullen27 күн бұрын
Eh that all depends. You could probably do a yearly fee for a GoDaddy site along with a site builder attached to it.

These "reviews" where they never use the product. Waste of time.

While I do appreciate the insight, I have been using this light since I bought it and it is a great light. Little to no sound at all and lasts quite awhile. I've had a number of people that liked this light. I've actually been considering buying a second one. Would be easier to show demos if it had a controller with it. That's the only thing I saw lacking on this :). Thanks for stopping by and checking out the video either way!

That's awesome to hear! Just keep at it. Think about who you want to be here on KZbin and what kind of content you want to post. As I've mentioned before, your first videos won't be great, lord knows mine weren't, but you will learn something with each video you post! If you notice I'm putting little KZbin shorts out recently. Trying to see if I can funnel those viewers into seeing the long form stuff.

I don't like the new version of the Videomic Go II microphone stand, when you put the deadcat on it the front part is too heavy and hangs down, the old stand was much better quality and more robust.
@aubreymcmullen2 ай бұрын
@ZoranOreskovic i 100% agree. I still have my shock mount from the one I got replaced, so I will most likely use that. More stable, in my opinion

Ive got some content I'd like to post, woodworking. Im about a year into the hobby and each project is a small improvement, learning a lot. Idk if ill post my stuff but see this makes me more comfortable if i do. Thanks man
@aubreymcmullen4 ай бұрын
When one person has a hobby there could be countless people that want to learn about the different things people are doing because the way you approach woodworking may differ from someone else. All you have got to do to start is hit record on your camera or camera phone. Niche down and don't be afraid to put yourself out there. Don't worry about your first vids being amazing because in reality all of us have to start somewhere and we learn through experience! You've got this! Thanks for the comment and welcome to the channel!

Thanks for the reply! Yeah it's a great small light for a small room. It could use a better softbox but ones you can get on Amazon are only about $40-50. I'm thinking of getting one to enhance the light a little bit :). Not too bad for an $80 cob light though! Welcome to the channel!

Hey there great video and I have a ton of cameras and I also do tech reviews and DIY videos. But anyway to your point, I use Sasmung products and I use DroidCam OBS so if you are using OBS for your videos and streams this works great. I don't use OBS anymore but if I went back I would use this in a minute as I have many phones that I can use for this. But what brought me to your video is I am looking to get a Elgato Facecam Pro and I stumbled across your video. Againm, great video and keep at it. And count me "Suscribed" sir!

Thanks for the sub and welcome to the channel! I will have to look up the Droidcam OBS. There's so much software out there I'm always down to learn about something new! I would have liked to have had a Elgato Facecam Pro, but I managed to get the Sony instead. I definitely don't regret it :). Again thanks for the sub and hopefully I can get more videos out there!
