I’m sure you probably already know the information by now but just in case; I played a DAI where Kieran was never created. So instead of the fade scene happening where he ran into the eluvian you just go with Morrigan to the Mythal altar in the the wilderness where instead of meeting the dragon Flemeth shows up and they still have basically the same conversation about Morrigan being connected to Flemeth now, and Flemeth telling her souls can’t be taken unwillingly. Which to me means in that end game scene Flemeth gave her soul to Solas.

You actually missed out on some extra dialogue with morrigan, if you asked her why she isn't a elf, morrigan reveals Mythal took on vessels who resonated with her, before Flemeth, her last host was a woman who was "trapped by those sworn to love her" which makes me think they are implying Andraste was a vessel of Mythal, and going by the lore that she heard voices and saw visions that compelled her to go against Tevinter, it's highly possible that it may have been Mythal picking her for her new vessel.

Wanna know something crazy? If you did bellara's quest and then spoke to Mythal and mention you beat Anaris, she actually deems you worthy because of it and you get her essence. It's best to have done the mythal essence later after doing companion stuff for more reactivity.

You're right about Morrigan being too nice, I noticed that as well. why is Morrigan helping the Veil jumpers. what is her connection to them. she's being entirely too helpful, both DA:O and DA:I, Morrigan was volun-told to join the Warden and the Inquisitor. in Veilguard Morrigan came to us which breaks her character pattern. I'm sorry, but I'm not a fan of this change in character for Morrigan.

The well didn't contain Mythal's literal memories. You may be confused because it was located in a place called "The Temple of Mythal", but it didn't contain *her* memories, it contained the knowledge of all of her *servants*, who were presumably not the godlike spirit-elves but mortal elves. So it's absolutely possible to drink from the well and not be privvy to Mythal's intimate knowledge, but Morrigan having been essentially an abomination to Mythal would be privvy to her memories. It checks out.

Yeah Elthina really should have listened and left the city, it would have prevented a lot of pain for everyone. But i do agree about the idea of making the mage-templar war a lot more interesting, like have a mission where you go to investigate the faction that you didnt recruit and try to recruit them, only to see the aftermath of you not recruiting them and the consequences, or maybe you could have like a B-team go to get the other group and depending on who you sent they either succeed or fail.

Haha I never once thought Flemeth/Mythal *gave* Solas her soul/power whatever. Looking at the context of the scene it always looked like murder to me. Because he said "I'm sorry" and she said "So am I" - that's something written in a ton of "regretful murder" scenes that I've seen.

Dragon Age 2 opened up a plot hole with Flemeth/Mythal. in Dragon Age 2 Flemeth gives you a locket with a piece of her inside it. when you open it, you ask how that's possible. Flemeth responds by saying that bodies are limiting things and it was only a piece and she did it because she has an appointment to keep. which we all assume is Flemeth referring to the fight with the Warden in origin's. but you do have the option to not fight Flemeth and still get the grimiour which means there is a possibility that there are two Flemeths out there in Thedas. what if that appointment wasn't about the Warden but was actually truly about Solas at the end of inquisition. we also see Flemeth at the end of inquisition putting something through an Eluvian. what if she pulled the same trick as she did with locket in DA2. and now there is a possible third Flemeth out there in Thedas.

The old god soul, June I assume given we know Urthemial and June are the same person, it's possible that since June was probably a wisp at the time Mythal took it from Kieran, maybe the soul got absorbed into Mythal and took the power, so when Solas took Mythal's power, that meant Solas also has June's powers as well, making him what we see now. Maybe given that June was just a wisp that meant Mythal could subsume the old god soul unto herself and take the powers, thus when given to Solas it restored his old strength.

Man I should definitely Re-play Anthem again. I played it the first time and beat it but didn't do to much Side Quest and Exploring. I know the game doesn't have much. But even though the game got a lot of bad reviews I personally think the game was extremely fun and cool. The kind of game where you can jump in and just play for fun and not be really serious about it but just relax.

What the actual Hell Bioware!! why did you cancel this game! the story is interesting, the characters are engaging and fun and the Javelins look like a blast to play! Im so sad that I didn't support and play this game. I love sci-fi games, Halo and Mass Effect are my favorites and now that I'm watching you play this I think Anthem is going on that list as well. Bioware needs to finish this game's story. leave out the live stuff and just focus on the main campaign story!

Taash's quest is kinda unrelatable to me so I wasn't the biggest fan (I actually like Taash as a companion, just really can't relate to struggling with identity stuff). The others have more relatable quests imo with themes most people can relate to like grief, shame and self worth, betrayal, protecting your loved ones, family, fears of mortality etc... that's why I felt more connected to them (especially Lucanis, Davrin and Emmrich I really love them tbh and think they're written super well). But I guess it's fine if I can relate to 6 out of 7 of the companions, that's more than can be said for most RPGs tbh. Part of it like you said could be because Taash is so young I think 20 or 22 and still exploring plus the world is in danger so this conversation seems kinda out of place. But eh not every character is written to appeal to everyone and that's ok!

Sadly, every time I try to merge the patch it tells me that I'm trying to merge a patch to an invalid location. It's the same as in the Dragon Age Path. Help?
