Nice video! I know it's five years later, but have you been out here recently and if so are the trails still in good condition? I've heard it's not the greatest because of moto ruts I was just wondering if this is still ridable since I'm planning on biking out here somtime soon.

The 2nd one is for traction so the shock has a dual piston like the fox float so when you put it in full it uses the both for decend and the middle one uses 1 piston for amore firm ride for less rough ground and it also makes the suspension travel shorter.

Great vid, thanks. If you get this message in time, is there a way you can give me the exact trails you rode, using the TF names? I'm in town for a few days and I know I'd like to ride Cave trail and have no problem climbing whatever I have to to get to Trail D. BTW, it's been raining most of the day, will the ground soak it up or will it be a muddy mess tomorrow? THANK YOU!
@WoodsRydah
@WoodsRydah 2 жыл бұрын
I don't have TF so I can't look give you names listed there. Several areas have changed since this video was made. The west side of the mountain off of Shaddock Ln has some nice climbing trails and flowy jumps that are fun to hit (for Canfield). The area is called the Concourse. Its non-motorized hiking and biking. Climbing up will eventually get you to trail A, trail A to USFS 2342 road to trail D. The soil will be very soggy, puddles, mud. It doesn't shed water well. You might consider Beacon Hill in East Spokane WA (about 40 min from CDA). its a very popular place to ride and much better to ride after rain (trails shed water quick) and has more diverse trails that are super fun. Good luck.

@WoodsRydah
@WoodsRydah 3 жыл бұрын
The La Sal is holding up well and has met all my expectations. I’ve been happy with it and have decided to keep it for a third season mainly because it does everything well and is not significantly different than newer bikes designs that have come out. With normal maintenance, it’s running like new, despite several wrecks over the past two years. It’s durable and reliable. Hope that helps.

Are you still enjoying your Fezzari La Sal? If you had it to do over would you stay with it or go with something else?
@WoodsRydah
@WoodsRydah 3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I still enjoy the bike. I would like to have a shorter travel trail bike that would be more playful on the less demanding trails because I’m getting older and less daring. But the Fezzari has given me a lot of confidence on tough trails. It has held up fantastically to the abuse of harsh hits and wrecks of a 200lb rider. The geo is modern and efficient for climbs and descents.

great review. I think I'll keep my La Sal as long as it lives (lifetime warranty) and just get myself a short travel or hard-tail when I feel like doing more cross-country type of riding. Maybe I could also get a cheap graval bike.

I enjoyed the snappy, light feel of the Rascal until I hit the black diamond trails. Then I missed my La Sal. I want t short travel snappy bike up until the trail gets dicey. So I'm going to keep my LS too. It does everything very well. A second short travel playful bike would be fun to have in the quiver as well, (maybe the Following V3?), for those XC rides.

I contend this bike is capable on the same trials just a bit slower than the larger travel bikes. If speed on the rough stuff is your thing then get an enduro. If you cherish a light snappy feeling bike for most trails and want to still ride occasional enduro trails this bike is a good fit!

Amazing Ride I Need To Go There! Also, How Did The Bike Feel With The Wireless?
@WoodsRydah
@WoodsRydah 4 жыл бұрын
I had a lot of accidental shifts as my thumb just touched the shifter pad it was enough to cause a shift. Cable shifter takes more of an intentional shift to engage. I didn’t notice a performance improvement with the wireless, just cleaner and a cool factor. I’m not going to spend the extra money on it yet.
