Not only do they differ in construction (stuffed with protein and rolled vs layered) the carb providing the structure could not be more different. It's like calling an empanada a lasagna

I saw an episode of GBB where the technical challenge was s'mores. It was embarrassing. The grahams were cut into circles(they also kept referring to them as biscuits - I guess only we can call them crackers), they had the bakers make chocolate ganache and used brulee torches to brown the marshmallows. Hearing the British judges critique an Anglicized version of a classic American treat was just painful. I was tempted to drive down to Boston just to throw some tea in the harbor. Not sure where that came from.
