You are correct it is 108ftlbs at 1200 rpm. I was getting them confused.

I have one that I haven’t used yet but I noticed in the video you were just pushing it down the log. Do you not have to use the handle with the rope to make it move?
@MrJoRobb
@MrJoRobb 11 күн бұрын
No you don't have to use the rope system. You can just push it, there is a handle for you to use.

May want to put plastic wrap or weather proof outside barrier for the outside walls, the chip-board will fall apart fast if it gets wet. Nice setup and job well done.

Not a good felling technique for lumber . Holding wood twists the crap out of the grain.

I'm experimenting with shorting the clips down. With this type of content, I think 3 seconds per clip is gonna be good. It will change often enough to keep you engaged but not so fast that you can't see what is going on.

Such a misleading title. 8x8 but really only 6x5
@MrJoRobb
@MrJoRobb 3 ай бұрын
You are incorrect Sir. The base is 6ft by 5ft. The Deer Stand is 8x8. With two 3ft wide porches. If you watch over the next 6 weeks, you will see the rest of it. That is why I wrote in the description it is a 7 part series.

They make a saw that uses the same batteries as your screw gun… just sayin
@MrJoRobb
@MrJoRobb 3 ай бұрын
I have a Bosch version of the battery-powered skill saw. From time to time, I enjoy using a hand saw to show that anyone is capable of building with limited tools. I'm no expert by any means, but with a little elbow grease and some critical thinking, I can show folks it can be done.

Your back cut should always be at least two inches higher than your bait cut. You only had about 8 inches of hinge when it began its drop.

That second log when it caught the wood and rotated it could have jammed the blade and done some damage including breaking the blade. But that does look like some nice wood. Is that you're drive belt or blade making that squealing noise?

For sure. Luckily, I haven't broken one yet despite hitting metal several times inside of a big oak.

@@jtrocktree5409really? If that’s true I’ll throw an 8 pin on mine. One of the issues I have is I’m always bouncing off the rev limiter with my 592. I bet the 661 would benefit from that too. Those are no slouch.
