This is so great content! amazing how many types of "advance technologies" we have the pride as human species to demand ownership for them are in fact inspired just by taking a closer look by nature and other many things... I prefer to think us humans better as best observants but not as best inventors I guess... this was great content! Keep up the great job!
@first-ever-422 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment! 😊 You’re absolutely right. It’s fascinating how much we can learn from simply observing! I love your perspective on us being better observers than inventors-somehow, that makes so much sense. Thanks again for the support!

I wish I could understand half of what you're saying without having to use CC, kinda lame.
@anthonyyoung89734 күн бұрын
Yeah, she has an accent. A little difficult to understand just here and there. And she would think the same listening to you. So you must be lame? Interesting subject matter. I subscribed.
@first-ever-422 күн бұрын
Thanks for the comment! English isn’t my first language, and I speak five languages, so maybe that’s why my accent is a bit different. But if auto-generated CC can understand me, I think that’s already a good sign! 🤗 I believe the real value is in the information that I want to share, and I appreciate your patience in getting through it! 😊

Mind blowing is that a fractal kind of structure slime moulds are making or what clarify my doubt please
@first-ever-422 күн бұрын
Thanks for the comment! Slime molds, like Physarum polycephalum, create patterns that look fractal-like because they form highly efficient and adaptive networks. These structures emerge as the slime mold optimizes its paths to connect food sources while minimizing energy use. While not true mathematical fractals, the patterns share similarities with other natural systems, like tree branches or blood vessels, which balance efficiency, resilience, and simplicity. It’s a fascinating example of how nature solves complex problems in elegant ways! So, in conclusion, slime molds don’t create true fractals, but their network-like patterns are similar to natural fractal structures 🤗

Good thumbnail, I got really confused for a bit on why you were holding a syringe and a jar of peanut butter till I remembered the mighty peanut butter shot (cold penicillin injected into your butt cheeks).
@first-ever-4215 күн бұрын
"Thumbnail is not only a reference to the bicillin injection (penicillin G benzathine) but also a nod to the most "recognizable" allergy and the misuse of antibiotics. We tried to highlight as many topics from video as we can. That's actually the problem with our videos, the thumbnail can't show all the information we include in one video 😁 So we need to be creative 😁 Thank you for watching, commenting and for your attentiveness!" ❤️

2:50 this is actually a myth that has been debunked. There are roughly the same number of bacteria as animal cells in our bodies
@first-ever-4215 күн бұрын
Thank you for watching and for this important correction! You're absolutely right - the older estimate of 10:1 ratio (bacteria to human cells) that I mentioned has been revised. According to more recent research published in 2016, the actual ratio is about 1.3:1, with approximately 30 trillion human cells and 38 trillion bacterial cells in the average human body. I was quoting the famous line from the Journal of the National Institute of Science that had been widely cited for years - I just forgot to mention in the video that this was an older estimate. Also, this wasn't so much a myth as it was our scientific understanding evolving with better counting methods. Really appreciate you helping keep the information accurate! Thanks again!

While GPS can be helpfull... I personally like knowing where I am going. And being borne in the era when maps were all one had and cellphones something that YUPpies used to flex with... There were no much other options, but to learn how to find ones way in the world... And it is not really that difficult. To find the city or general area where you are going to, it usually helps if you find out wich route (number) you need to follow. And in case you make a wrong turn somewhere, it can be usefull if you know the primary routes within the area you are travelling in. The nice thing about navigating with maps and route numbers, is that especially a few years ago, some GPS's were really lost whenever there was a change in the exact route. At worst some would essentially panic and start chiming out random instructions, trying so hard to understand how the measured co-ordinates place us in middle of the woods (on a new road)... But road signs would still guide you where you need to go, even if all you have is a nearly shredded piece of paper that used to be a decent map a couple of decades ago.
@first-ever-422 ай бұрын
Great points! Knowing how to navigate with maps and route numbers is a valuable skill, especially since smart route systems like in the USA aren’t common everywhere. Old-school methods can save the day when tech fails!
@jypsridic2 ай бұрын
Are city folk doing okay? The more I learn about you guys the less faith I have in your ability to survive. Self-defense and navigation are probably thee two skills that every living creature on earth should be proficient at. City-folk refuse both. It's so weird.
@first-ever-422 ай бұрын
Survival skills are important, no doubt! But city life comes with its own unique challenges and adaptations-it’s just a different environment requiring different skills.

If we went back to clocks that have a little hand and a big hand, stick shift cars, cursive writing... We would find a whole generation crippled.
@first-ever-422 ай бұрын
I understand your point, but each generation adapts to new tools, so while some older skills may fade, younger people are mastering tech and problem-solving in ways unique to their time. It’s all part of evolving with the world!”

The largest living organism being a fungi is one of my favourites facts to share. Also what algorithm sorcery is going on here? Where did your channel come from? This video, and another of your videos was in my top two rows of recommended videos with only a few hundred views. And your channel three days old. I thought it was just another content farm computer voiced science channel. But you’re real (at least I’m pretty sure you are) and your content is great. I just don’t know what’s real anymore.
