Do not believe Damian. He left a lot of TRUTH out of his story. He was having an affair with his office manager (his wife now) in the Laguna Niguel office while he was married and his kids were very young. He bought her a lot of luxury purses with money they swindled from countless patients. THEY’RE BOTH SHAMELESS LIARS. They personally took my family for thousands of dollars (out of pocket). We’ve never driven nice cars or lived in luxury like they do, we were just trying to fix our 4 kids’ teeth. While they were being EVICTED from their office in LN my husband and I confronted them. They had the audacity to CONTINUE LYING and even tried to get more money out of us! Sadly they stole a lot of other people’s money as well and then left town (all the time claiming they were just relocating to a new office space). Damian’s step brother (also an orthodontist and an honest man) confirmed to us his true character. Damian and his mistress blew up his family, lied constantly, and hurt countless families by stealing money to support their life style. They’re selfish people, WITHOUT THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS AND ALCOHOL. He’s not the loving family man he claims to be. I’ve always felt sorry for his kids. They deserved better. I hope he and Samantha find Jesus Christ and become TRULY HONEST, HUMBLE, and REPENTANT people.

My wife and I went to dental school with Damian. Always a super nice guy. When we found out about the story it was beyond belief. Honestly he was kind of a butt of a lot of jokes the past years in our circles. This video was really sobering and humanized him again. I hope he works things out. Best of luck.

I paid you $4k in 2010 for braces. Screwed up my mouth, made my teeth worse, then kept my $. You did the sa.e to hundreds of others. We all reported to the dental board. You lost your license. Children and adults mouths were destroyed by you so you could keep bringing in money for your addiction. Parents were posting on our forum how they couldn't afford new treatment for their kids after you robbed them. Was any restitution ever paid? You're on here talking about your sobriety and getting praise. You are a crook and you harmed hundreds of people and stole thousands from them. You didn't just rob banks. Shame on you. I suffer consequences to this day from your fraudagaint hundreds of your clients.

Thanks for deleting my comment, dont believe this man. Hes horrible, i was a patient and he scammed my single mother who was financially struggling out of $5000 cash. He's done this to multiple struggling families. He deserves to be in prison

Convenient how he leaves out the huge part where he scammed countless of his patients out of thousands of dollars . Look up his yelp. Addiction is one thing but this man is truly morally corrupt and evil.

This is what I took from his story. He had some trauma early in life and introduction to drugs early which is powerful. That introduction early in life to coping with hard times by drug abuse followed him his whole life. College, dental school and practice and family life. It finally destroyed him but God can lead you out of anything no matter how bad your situation seems at the time. We don’t recognize how powerful his leadership can be. This man realized it. He knew he could only overcome it with God and real supportive friends. This shows us that no matter the situation you find yourself in, a new life can be given to you through faith

I find this interesting, and so happy for this mans recovery and happy for his family. However, having been a victim of an armed home invasion by teens trying to pass a final test to become a member of some elite gang and they are now in jail. I hope they find recovery while on the inside but what about the recovery of the victims whose life is changed forever. A bank teller being robbed life is forever changed as mine was after looking down the barrel of a gun with someone stating they are going to kill me. The recovery & healing time for victims of criminal behavior, is also a life long process of forgiveness that I struggle with on a daily basis. Again, thank you for sharing this pod cast
