Damn comma that’s the one pissed off snake and it looks like he blew his full load. I wouldn’t want to be on the south end of that one, lights out.

I have a lot of respect for this man and have been to the St. Cloud Reptile World Serpentarium several times. That being said, the last two times I was there for the venom extraction show, George spoke for 45 minutes on politics and why you should vote Democrat and why you're foolish if you don't. It was a rant. There was an elementary school group there that had to leave because he went on and on and on and they ran out of time and never saw the venom extraction. It was just really weird. I won't go back.

I was enjoying this until the moment he brings up government run health care. Since when has anything improved once the government has taken control of it? I agree the costs are out of control and there needs to be changes but all the government would do is tax us to death. It would be a complete disaster. Keep socialism out of America.

Gosh what a great life he's had. Someone who cares about preserving things. It's so weird listening to an old hat like him, I don't detect any ego as he speaks. He's like a snake guru who has achieved snake enlightenment. That ending shot 😢
@RobertWedderburn13 күн бұрын
Yip, it is definitely enlightened. He just wants people to let snakes be, and for people to live in harmony with nature without destroying it.

It truly was so interesting learning more about the state of wildlife conservation in Florida. I really hope this video can help more laws and education systems be put together to preserve this unique environment. Also loved hearing about the respect given to the cobras in India. I really enjoyed this episode with you interviewing George VanHorn. I had a similar experience when at age 8 I saw my first snake, a dead Aurora House Snake. The beauty of that snake motivated me to study snakes, and today I have my dream job of doing venom extraction for our antivenom production in South Africa. Amazing how the passion for something can carry you through tough times.
