Tam signed for Celtic in June 1972 as a 15 year old , he was farmed out to Maryhill Juniors , where he played in the same team as Gerry Collins ,who also lived in Soho St in the Mile End , not Calton,He and Gerry both played for St Mary Boys Guild , at different age levels , as Gerry was 2 years older .

Tommy burns tommy burns tommy burns. A true celtic legend. When they sackwd him as manager he said im going through the front door they way i come in. He was so unlucky to be sacked cos he built a great celtic team who played amazing football. Its just the huns were flying to 9 in a row. God bless you tommy bhoy. Youl never walk alone old son.

But for The Referee & the Cheating From Porto, Celtic Woulde have Won this UEFA Cup. I’m an Aberdeen Fan, Though I Watched this Run including Pubs in Perth, Edinburgh as well as at my own Home in Aberdeen. I Now Live in Forres (Highlands of Scotland) With my Darling Wife Karen & My Daughter Vicky. Decco, Cheated !! For the Pen as he Dived in the Final. What about Larson, one Of thee Best Players In Ever !! To Play in Scotland & What a Team… Mullaby, Lennon, Lambert, Hartson, Sutton & Larson, to name a few, What a Squad Built by Martin o Neil. Reminds me of the Great Aberdeen Team of 1980’s. Such a Shame that Celtic lost the final.

Tommy Burns, was a top fella even the Glasgow Rangers fans like myself thought so, he passed away far to soon. But when all is said and done Tommy got his dream to play for and manage Glasgow Celtic..a very respected man in Scottish football....if not the world...he can rest in peace knowing that ...❤❤❤❤❤
