You are so wrong about Now and then by Beatles. Your take is absolutely false. No vocals were ai generated. They were Sepearted using ai from a very old demo about 50 years

Your takes on best pop vocal album are also wrong. That category is not about some vocals but pop albums with vocals of any type

I will love to see Raye win something she’s so so soooo talented, but there’s some really strong competition with her that are way more mainstream so sadly I don’t think she will win something :(

Addison Rae is not hyperpop. You're literally comparing her to ARCA (extremely alternative artist) because she's friends with Charli XCX. I would like your video if it wasn't a ridiculously false & ignorant statement. I like Addison Rae, but she's the opposite of hyperpop. You don't know what hyperpop is. It's not working with Charli XCX. 🙄😑 Diet.Pepsi is more like something Lana del Rey would release.

Why are you mentioning One Direction? They're from the 2010s
@Hajiyev19922 ай бұрын
And it’s ironic you talked about Madonna here then show her 80s work when in fact her late 90s early 20s works weren’t even featured like Music. It was in this period where her transition to electronica happened, far earlier than when it caught on with other pop girlies in the 2008 onwards. Again, research please
@Hajiyev19922 ай бұрын
From someone who has actually lived through that period, there are actually 2 eras of pop music that you lumped into one. The first was between 1998/99-2002-ish were pop truly exploded driven by boybands, the older divas Madonna/kylie, girl groups like the Spice Girls & pop princesses like Britney & Christina (girl you couldn’t separate discussion between the 2 during that time). The sound here was really poppy driven Max Martin. The second era was between 2008-2012 where the likes of Rihanna, Gaga, Katy etc era of pop, more electronic driven. In between these 2 eras were a period of rnb/hiphop domination. This could be the same between the 2nd era & the current pop era 2020-ish to now, were hiphop was dominant. You see, it’s all cyclical. Better research please
@Hajiyev19922 ай бұрын
And today’s pop aesthetic actually borrows far from the 2000s but actually from the late 80s to early 90s. Pop today does not sound like Max Martin 2000s songs. Speaking of 80s, it was from the 1988/9 to early 1992/3 was the pop era where Madonna, Michael, Whitney reigned, together with boyband NKOTB, teen stars like Debbie & Tiffany & then dance pop, specially house was popular (see Gypsy woman sampled by Katy Perry). In between this era of pop & the late 90s/early 2000s was domination by rock, rnb (specialt Mariah’s pop-hiphop-rnb mix) & hiphop

Because I was born in the 00s, I definitely think that The Decade I was born on was a new Decade for Pop Music. I grew up listening to POP Music a lot and it has always been my favourite genre to listen too, even When I'm sad or upset or Depressed or whatever, i'm not going anywhere without listening to POP Music. The Style Back In The 2000s was a lot different than other Decades before the 00s, so that made the 00s a new era for POP music, as well as the makeup.The 00s had more of a toned down look that gave the Decade an unseen edge but still creative and unique.I feel like the beats had new vibes too it because it was electropop, Eurodance, Synth, Etc. I am very proud to be born in the 00s.

Let's Not Forget Michael Jackson. He Was The One Who Paved The Way For POP Music with his Unforgettable Dance Moves, singing, Talent, Creativity, Hardwork etc. That's why he was named the King Of POP. May His Soul Rest In Peace.

Same here, being born in the 00's there's always that sense of comfort with 00's music. It's almost become a safety net to listen to whenever I need to. It's interesting the point you mentioned about the makeup, that's not something I would've even paid attention to unless pointed out (like you have just done). I feel like a part 2 of this video is needed haha

The pop girls back then were so distinct. You had main pop girls like Britney, Beyonce, Pink, Christina, Rihanna, Gaga, Katy, Taylor, Shakira, Kelly Clarkson and to some extent Jlo releasing quality pop gems after pop gems. Even the transitional trinity Nelly Furtado, Fergie and Gwen had their moments to shine. These pop girls all dabbled with different genres but somehow made it memorable
